The location is amazing and rooms just exquisite. We loved the space we had, Sean went out of his way to make us welcome. It's not often you find such lovely hotels allowing dogs so we were really pleased. Great value for money. We'll be back and can highly recommend.
The room was nice and large and well heated. The windows must be original as they let a lot of the (howling) wind through. We had a private bathroom which really means a shower room at the end of the hall. A little TLC is needed but the hotel has good parking and is well situated.

There are a lot of positives about this hotel. Relaxed easy feeling, very good local food which was just what we were hoping for, a large room. A couple of little things could have made the stay more comfortable - I was surprised the room wasn't freshened up on the middle day so no nice neat bed and the dirty coffee cups were there for the duration. The kettle couldn't reach the plug so you had to use it on the floor which could be tricky for less agile visitors. As the bathroom was down the corridor perhaps a simple robe would be a bit better than a towel for going to and fro. But lovely staff and I would go again as these are only small points.
Location is good - we had a nice walk to Bridport which is well worth the visit
Not being able to enter the hotel until checking in time. After arriving I had to call from the car park to see if I could park as there was a sign saying clamping, I thought it could have been more helpful to customers arriving a bit earlier.

A great location, welcoming, a spacious clean room, good breakfast. Only criticism is the decor needs attention in places (peeling wallpaper)
