Die Lage des Hauses war gut, zentral zu Beginn der Fußgängerzone. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt von Überlingen und die Seepromenade waren zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Die Rezeption ist nur sehr selten besetzt. Für eventuelle Fragen oder Probleme ist dort eine Telefonnummer hinterlegt. Es wurde kein Frühstück angeboten und das zum Hotel gehörende Restauriert/Café war geschlossen. Insgesamt hätten wir bei einem Hotel in dieser Preislage mehr erwartet.

Zimmer sehr sauber und wor haben sehr gut geschlafen.

Am WE sehr laut abends, da Kneipe in unmittelbarer Nähe. Bei geschlossenem Fenstern war es aber ruhig.

Besonders gut ist die Lage vom Hotel. Man ist zu Fuß sofort bei Restaurants, Bäckerei, Metzgerei, an der Promenade, am Hafen. 20 min ca. zum Ostbad. Das Bett ist gemütlich, das Zimmer hat alles was man braucht.

Leider es etwas hellhörig in der Nacht, da an der Straße gleich einige Restaurants, Pubs sind. Am Wochenende wird dort gefeiert. Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber und gemütlich.

"Barrierefreies Zimmer nicht mit Rollstuhl erreichbar"

Wir hatten ein barrierefreies Zimmer gebucht. Dieses konnten wir nicht beziehen, da wir die Treppe zum Fahrstuhl (immerhin sechs Stufen) mit dem Rollstuhl nicht überwinden konnten. Der Herr an der Rezeption versuchte uns zu überzeugen, dass das Zimmer, abgesehen von der Treppe, in jedem Fall barrierefrei sei. Und bot uns Schienen an, um die Treppe zu überwinden. Unglaublich. Vor allem, da das Hotel mit einem barrierefreiem Zimmer wirbt. Besonders ärgerlich, da wir im Vorfeld beim Hotel nachgefragt haben, ob das Zimmer auch wirklich rollstuhltauglich sei.
