Location was good as it's close to the town

Had bed bugs. Reported to the staff who was very helpful and immediately changed the room, however I was already bitten by a few by then. On closer inspection it also seemed like the fitted sheet on the mattress wasn't changed.

Lovely quiet Area. Breakfast was great, 'young' gentleman was very polite and chatty, made us feel welcome. We needed to able to book-in early, it wasn't a problem with the owners. Cabin was basic, but that was what we were after, didn't need any more. All in all, a great stay.

Pub garden could have done with a spruce up, but that didn't affect our stay at all.

Chose this for the location.

Sadly the room needed a lick of paint, the TV was very small, there was no door on shower cubicle, breakfast wasn't until 8:30, possibly so you don't have any. The pub doesn't do food in the evening.

room was tiny, could do with a paint job. the plumbing made a racket. when I arrived at the hotel 5pm, it was closed and a note stuck on the door, no one from the hotel approached me to ask how I was.

Breakfast was good. Size and decor of room good. Nice to have a bit of colour in the room.

The pub was closed 1st night but open 2nd night but no food served both evenings. The conservatory was used as a dumping ground which I was hoping to use. There was a noise poss thermostate problem that kept me awake Ist night, it was so bad I was tempted to leave and not stay a 2nd night. Plumber was called on day 2 but could not fix that day. The gardens were a bit overgrown. The twin beds in the room had a thin metal frame with a mattress on top that you could easily feel the springs. I felt I should have been told before I arrived that the pub would be closed so I could have sorted out getting a meal eslewhere. I also feel with a bit more TLC it could be a good place to stay.

Good location for our trip

Bathroom smelt a bit damp, bedding & towels were in poor condition. There were no hangers for clothes or space to put stuff. The outside area needed attention. For the price paid we expected better accommodation.
