Location and rooms

Slowest check in process ever. We have 16 rooms and took us 1 hour to check in with so many formalities. Not an ideal place for group at all. Air condition do not work in any room even though it’s 36* . If you open the window then insects come inside the room! Horrible experience for all 16 rooms.

We liked the location because bus/tram service was good and great grocery store was right next door but due to the problem we had in the room we avoided being at the room as much as possible.

We were not happy with the hotel room or the staff - our room was too hot for days - nor with Booking.com’s efforts to help resolve this. The outside temps were extremely high for Bern when we visited, in the high 80s and low 90s. We stayed at Prize for three nights and our 6th floor air conditioning just didn’t deliver. The room temp was never below the mid-70s. We asked for it to be fixed or for a cooler room. The staff indicated that other rooms had better cooling but they were “all booked”. The staff was ineffective at best and their customer service was poor. The staff said that because we went through Booking.com we’d have to route complaints or cancellation through them, but when we contacted Booking.com their efforts at intervention yielded nothing. We were left high and dry. It left us feeling trapped and cheated and we’ll think twice before using Booking.com again.

Trop peu de collaborateurs le matin à 8h00 pour le check-up. Une seule personne...Attente trop longue et désagrable lors qu'on a des engagements professionnels!
