La Fortuna Lodge

Amazing stay!!! We loved it and would 100% stay here again. The rooms were so clean and we had a direct view of the volcano. The breakfast was very good as well! The staff was super friendly! We got to pick our breakfast time and what we wanted the night before so it was fresh when we came down the following morning. Great stay!

I had an amazing experience at La Fortuna Lodge! The staff went above and beyond to help get shuttles and book my excursions. The breakfast and coffee were great! I could walk everywhere or quickly get an uber whenever I wanted. Beautiful place and would definitely go back.

Hotel was clean and facilities were excellent. Functioning A/C, fan, TV and internet. Common areas quiet and inviting and location is convenient to downtown La Fortuna. The breakfast included was also great! The staff made me a turtle out of towels for my birthday alongside balloons, which was above and beyond and very thoughtful.

Very clean and walkable location. The staff was very helpful with every question we had.

Need room hair dryers. Hooks on wall for hanging a plus.

Perfect little hotel close to everything but tucked away on a quiet street. Tastefully decorated throughout with multiple seating areas through small immaculate garden. Room great with fridge, coffee maker snd ac. Tv with prime and Netflix! Slept really well here -nice bed linen! Breakfast preorder -fruit and then a choice of egg dishes . Staff very helpful in organising excursions. Couldn’t fault it and all for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at La Fortuna Lodge. The facilities are in very good condition. Staff is very helpful but not overbearing. Daniel at reception was great. The location is close to the main drag but two short blocks away so relatively quiet and very safe. The vibe is totally Pura Vida. We would happily return here.

This whole BnB is extremely clean!! It's very cozy, with a big dining area for breakfast; there's sitting areas all in the property; a big sitting area upstairs with couches, easy (rocking ) chairs; a table with chairs for cards games etc; there is a dart board; board games. All these are outside, but covered areas. There is even a bench outside the property (beside it) where you can take your coffee, sit and have a smoke. Our room was small, but really big enough, the bed; pillows and linens were excellent.It was nice to have a TV in our room with Netflix (in English)! The bathroom was perfect with a shower head in the shower (no bathtub).Water pressure and wifi were spot on.There was plenty of parking. The breakfast were amazing. They give you a menu (the night before) and you can choose between 4 meals~ all homemade the next morning. So yummy!! The shops; restaurant's; bars; and parks were within a 5 minute (or less ) walk from the Lodge. The whole place is securely gated, and there is someone in reception 24/7. All the staff were very kind; helpful and polite ( all speaking Spanish & English). For the price we paid for our 3 night stay, the price was excellent. We would definitely recommend this Lodge BnB.

My favorite hotel on my first trip to Costa Rica! Staff was very helpful, welcoming and kind. It had a gorgeous view of Volcán Arenal! Cute deck common area with lots of lounging and games. I love how they have free breakfast and a recommendation of local food and adventure items. I would definitely stay there again!

Would have liked to stay an extra night here, comfortable beds and everything within walking distance. Staff was kind and helpful.
