Good location. Near lots of pubs / restaruants. Easy access to city walls. Quiet at night.

Very comfortable and cosy little house in a great location. Jerry was helpful when we struggled getting hot water (just needed to run it longer!) and he let us know when the house was ready a little early. Would stay there again.

We have been to this cottage a number of times. It is perfect for us. It is so cosy and homely, peaceful at night but within a short walk of restaurants, shops, the shambles, York Minster, Markets and pubs. The owner is extremely helpful with any queries. Thank you!

The house was very charming, clean and in a fantastic location. A little two up/two down, right next to the city walls, York Minster and less than 10 minutes into the centre. In fact we were so close that we were able to go back a few times to freshen up and rest from all the walking!!! We were welcomed with a nice message from Jerry on the chalk board, with tea & coffee and a few sachets of milk for a well needed cuppa after travelling. Fluffy towels and nice bedding, a very comfy bed and the Minster bells in the distance. How lovely.

Nothing really to fault with this lovely little house/cottage. We couldn't get the tv to work, but that was actually user error!! The water pressure in the bathroom sink was a bit low, but the shower was hot and great.

Ideal location within the walls of York city. Easy walking distance to key visitor attractions such as Jorvik and rail museum. Lots of good restaurants nearby
