Everything about York it’s beautiful the cottage was lovley and cosy

Heating on a timer. It was a very cold weekend

Lovely character cottage, with everything you need for a short stay in an excellent location. Location is quiet even though you are close to shops, restaurants and bars. We parked at Monkbar Mews carpark via Your Parking Space which is reasonably priced for long stays (not for short stays). I hope to be back again!

Nothing.

We enjoyed the convenience and safety of the location. Instructions were to follow and all the amenities made our stay delightful.

The cottage was clean and presentable with all the facilities we could need. However there was a smell of foist downstairs and the shower was extremely hot which resulted me in scolding myself - an issue which needs to be fixed immediately for peoples safety.

7 Monk Bar Court exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is a lovely little cottage along the city walls next to Monk Bar Gate. The cottage has all the facilities that you would have at home and downstairs a living room and kitchen and small courtyard backing onto the city walls. Upstairs is a bedroom and bathroom. You can easily relax here on the two sofas between activities if you need any downtime. Location wise it is so central and quiet at the same time. Monkbar Court is on Goodramgate with excellent central access to the city, minster and walls. We will definitely book here again for our next York visit.
