7 Monk Bar Court YORK

Fine little house, 5 minutes' walk from the Minster, where we were singing. Nicely furnished and prettily decorated. York is a fascinating city, and you can see a lot just by walking around the walls, which ran above our back yard. We found lots of good eating and drinking, too.

There was parking nearby, but it was quite dear. We would have liked a bit more crockery and a good-sized saucepan. No freezer in the fridge. But thes are minor matters. We got on absolutely fine. It wasn't cheap, but the location was brilliant, so you wouldn't expect it to be.

The location was brilliant could not have got a better place. Well layout of property ideal for a small family and very close for shops, the Minster and other attentions.

I don’t like to say but the sofa’s need replacing they are not good or comfortable. The toilet seat is too small for the average person. Sorry.

The curtains in the bedroom were too thin and allowed in too much light. Recommend that either a set of blackout curtains be installed or a separate blackout blind.

The location was fantastic and it was easy to check in and out of the property. We were made to feel really at home and had a great stay.

The only thing that was challenging was working out how to use the cooker and hob, so some clearer instructions on how to use that might be good.

We made our own breakfast. Location top notch.

The shower was very hot.
