Great owner and staff. I stayed here for 6 days while I went to the rainforest, waterfalls, and volcanoes.

"Good"

7.0

Big rooms and tasty breakfast. The instructions on how to find it were clear and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

The place is a bit tired looking at this point and some renovation is in order. The plastic roof over the terasse of our room was broken and flapping noisly in the wind all night. But regardless, it is a rather noisy location - just off the motorway and on a hill which means that one can hear the motors of the big trucks 24/7 making it hard to sleep without earplugs. There's no electric kettle in the room so no way to make a cup of tea.

"Felt well taken care of at a spacious mountain retreat."

10.0

Everything. Owner and all staff went above and beyond to help us when our flight delay left us without a car at the airport. The setting is bucolic- lush grounds with expansive views 360 degrees. Even had breakfast served in the room as an option. Comfortable beds well equipped kitchenette.

Nothing I didn’t like

"Mountain experience for overnight stay!"

10.0

A nice mountain ranch where time stops, perfect for a one night stay while traveling acroos the country, only minutes from San Jose, if you wish to avoid City buzz. We enjoyed a walk around the property and garden, and we served a delicious dinner in the main lodge. Alex and Francis were so gracious! Our villa had a kitchennette and balcony, we stayed in Villa Seville. Our king size bed was comfy.

Only observationwas the water pressure for showering was minimal, but we made it work!

"Nice setup tiny village with warm welcome"

8.0

With a very warm welcome of our hosts at this beautiful location, we had a pleasant stay for 1 Day. Close at the highway but not a problem. The diner was very nice with their own cook. Ruben build this location with passion and kinda made it his own small Village.

"Wonderful place with kindest people"

10.0

Wonderful place with kindest people. The ranch area is stunning, we went for an early morning walk around and loved how many plants and birds. The room was tidy. We absolutely loved the dinner and Costa Rican breakfast, such a must try. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

"good stop if you land late in the afternoon and wanna a stop over 1 h from airport"

8.0

we stop here becouse only 1 hour from the international airport. It was just a stopover on the way to the caraibean coast, and so I pick up this place close enough to airport that I did not need to drive much in the dark and after a long flight and in the same time the place was not in a town but in the mountains, far enough from confusion and traffic. The place was empty (august id very low season in Costarica) and was raining so not the best conditions. It looks also a bit run down, but that is, i suppose, only becouse many places in very low season cut off some rooms and some staff....anyway it was pleasant enough and the room was big and they also have a heater (it was high in mountains and raining so also in Costarica in those conditions you go down at 17-18°C), a big bathroom.

Well, the view was on the forest but even in the daytime when cloudy (and it was very cloudy) no much natural light in the room...but they cannot do nothing about it. The mattress was ok but not very ok. The breakfast was usual Costarica stuff, but not particolar good..basica average of local "casado". Overall a ok experience but nothing to remeber about
