Excellent location. Short drive from airport. A welcome stop after 40 hrs of travelling.

This very nice lodge sits at a very convenient but also beautiful location en route to Tortuguero from San Jose. The large rooms have a lovely balcony with a very nice view over the grounds and valley. Even though we arrived late, a lovely meal was prepared for us and put in the room for us to enjoy after a very long trip. Breakfast was amazing but the true stars are the owners/ staff

The proximity to the highway and the sound of heavy trucks throughout the night

Absolutely breathtaking views and extremely safe. In the mountains fresh air and breeze excellent balcony for enjoying your morning coffee. Would highly recommend. You will definitely want to eat from their kitchen as the food is excellent and you do not have ability to cook in the rooms.

I really enjoyed everything but adding a hot tub in the evening would be amazing. Amazing time enjoying the views and relaxation outside of the busy city of San jose.

The breakfast was very healthy, with a good portion & tasty. Very much enjoyable. Adjusted it to our individual preferences , which was a real treat! The staff, were all very helpful & kind. The amenities were great!

Better lighting in the main part of our room, dish soap, extra towel & drainer would have been nice.

The lodge is located on a beautiful property, lovingly setup and decorated. Our room was spacious with a patio overseeing the valey. Staff were friendly and helpful and we liked our breakfast, though it was very basic.

The one negative point is the location right next to Highway 32. There are large trucks moving with their engine breaks rattling. It is a constant noise, which is loud even insight the rooms.
