"Wonderful lodging and dining"

My husband, daughter and I just spent 2 nights at Anchuca and truly enjoyed staying in such a beautiful historic mansion. Also I must mention the delicious breakfast that is served to guests staying there. The nightly dinners in the restaurant are open to anyone. A reservation is a good idea. Anchuca has a truly talented chef, Ashley and our dinner there was perfectly prepared and delicious. We definitely will revisit Anchuca.

"Lovely history and lovelier house!"

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The historic house very charming.

The bathroomwas fine but could be updated with new sink and faucet. The breakfast was underlying. Although the grits were good!

"A beautiful and delicious dinner in Vicksburg"

A beautiful historic home paired with an amazing dinner! I had the filet with shrimp and grits, and there were five delicious desserts to choose from. This was easily one of the cleanest, most well-kept houses we visited on our trip. The owner was dining at a nearby table and made a point to greet and thank every guest, which made the experience feel even more special. We will definitely be back!

"We will never stay there again !!!!"

This is a bait and switch. Deluxe Queen Room from their website was a beautiful room with 4 poster bed, antique furnishings, really nice looking on the website. In fact we stayed in a 200 square foot room on the second floor - renovated old servants quarters!!! You had to walk up exterior wooden stairs attached (rather loosely I will add) to the building. The exterior door was a wood slat door with a lock. There are too many things to list. I will not recommend this place to anyone and I will mot stay there again. Like I said - this is a classic “Bait and Switch” what a shame.
