This may have been modern in the 1950's The shower head was shoulder height Pillows died 10 years ago Top sheets had holes No hair dryer Only riff raff frequent this dump Management spies on patrons Breakfast has NO protein I wish every other hotel had not been booked.
the owner walked into our room without knocking after we settled in, claiming he was checking the room
clean, friendly, would stay again
Arrived at hotel and was given a room, but told not to park too close because it upsets the longer-term renters. Hotel had foul odor that seemed like a musty cigarette smoke smell as soon as I entered. Room was decent size, but dirty. Bedding had stains on it, there was hair on toilet in restroom, shower head was appropriate for someone 4 foot tall.
USThis place was terrible, clerk was rude, the key card worked only once, there was no remote for the TV, the bedspreads had burn holes and stains on them, the mattress had holes in them and stains. Luckily we only had to stay here one night. Will never stay here again. I recommend you find another place to stay.
This was a horrible place. The rooms were disgusting and very dirty, the smell was just unbearable, the man in the office was very rude and asked us to show him to room that was dirty, when we went to the room I set down my keys to show him he took my keys to my vehicle and kicked us out of room and slammed the door and was yelling at us. We called the cops on him and they asked for are keys and he said he did not take them. He wrote the police report up and I will be calling the health code people for how disgusting it was. As you can tell we did not stay there my husband had the spare key. And got another one made which we had to pay for.
THI'm a repeat guest here - great location - great value AND the owner's ("Paul") personal touch makes it the number one choice in this part of Missouri. ALL GOOD. The offers everything you need and nothing you don't. Also, Paul offers weekly and monthly rates....
I had call and talked with someone about making sure they still allowed pets then made my reservation online and it said to contact if a late check in which is what I did so I called back to let them know and the same person answered and he was very hateful on the phone I continued to talk with him about certain things and he was mad that I made the reservations online and said how I should have just done things over the phone since he was so hateful I had told him I was going to be canceling my reservation that I had just made not 30min prior and he preceded to tell me that they would not allow me to do that. Well guess what I got my reservation cancelled. I called the number that was on the site and once I explained everything the company I had made the reservation through was very nice and worked with me and tried to get the hotel not to charge me for the cancellation. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND I WILL NEVER ALLOW ANY FRIENDS OR FAMILY STAY THERE
USHorrible, Horrible, Horrible. We started with a very unfriendly man who checked us in that informed us we could not have a 1st floor room because we had made our reservation online. He told us the 1st floor was reserved for NORMAL customers. Now let’s start with the room- Hallway was like 90 degrees- There was buckets in the hallway catching water leaking from the ceiling. Room smelled stale- AC not great- Fridge not plugged in- Worst beds EVER- Pillow were like pancakes- Room was dusty- Carpet was dirty- Toilet would not flush right- Shower was super slippery. Continental breakfast sucked. It consisted of stale cereal and a cheap honey bun, and was told not to take anything out of the breakfast room. No water in the pool. Then the check out. As we checked out, we were not offered a receipt. I ask the rude gentleman at the desk for a receipt. Upon looking at the receipt I noticed we had been charged more than what Travelocity had told us. I asked the clerk (who barely spoke English) why was the total different, He told me because my son was 16 and he could get a drivers license he was an adult. I told him that I had booked him as a 16 year old on Travelocity. He told me in HIS country he is considered an adult. After 10 minutes of arguing with him he changed it back to the original price. Then when I got home I checked my bank acct, and he changed it back to the higher rate after I left. THIS PLACE IS DIRTY AND DISHONEST. DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL BE SORRY.
USthis was way better than expected. everything was immacuately clean and well maintained. philip and staff were curteous and professional.. my s.o. and i stayed in the king suite with jetted tub. it was a huge and well appointed room with 2 oversized rocker recliners, couch, desk, dining area, yes i am applauding everything about this place. and all at a reasonable price.. we may actually go out of our way to make this a destination. oh and it is easy to access. right off route 65 and 14 (jackson ave interchange)
