Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kathmandu Thamel

Hotel is well located in Thamel and well maintained. Room cleanliness well maintained too, Staff are friendly . Breakfast well spread like their Oat👍. If going back to kathmandu will definitely stay in this hotel again, will recommend to my friends and family

We had a great stay here (two rooms) before and after our Everest Base Camp trek. Location is excellent in the Thamel neighbourhood, surrounded by shops and restaurants. Reception and security are staffed 24x7. Our rooms were spacious and clean, with functional storage and nice bathroom amenities. Water pressure and temperature in the shower were excellent. Wifi was very good. We took advantage of their same-day laundry service (by item, not weight). They also washed our backpacks which were filthy/dusty from the trek. There is a big scale in the lobby for weighing duffles/backpacks for treks and flights. And conveniently, we were able to keep our luggage here during our trek. Breakfast on the main floor had a very good offering. And we lunched and dined at the rooftop restaurant several times - views and food were great. A shout-out to Ms. Bina and her spa team – they were amazing, and always accommodated the four of us for the times we needed (communication was easily done via WhatsApp). Our deep-tissue full-body massages, head massages, foot massages and facials were absolutely wonderful and helped us either prepare for our trek or with recovery afterwards.

I went to nepal for a vacation and once got to the hotel suddenly realize that my phone is missing. Ms.Nima who was at the front desk actively did the needful to retrieve my mobile. Thank you very much for your generous support which given me through out my stay. Although all the staff were very welcoming and kind and very active. One of the best stays ever thank you all. I loved EVERYTHING! From the moment I arrived, every staff member at Ramada Encore was incredibly kind and professional. A special shout-out to the gentleman who assisted me with my bags, the reception team, who patiently helped me with many requests, the lovely ladies at the spa, and the attentive restaurant staff. Their warmth and dedication to excellent service truly made a difference. The facilities are outstanding, exactly what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. I had an amazing rest and a truly pleasant stay. Thank you, Ramada Encore, for such a wonderful experience! I look forward to returning.
