The location was central and convenient for our reasons to be in Dallas.

The hotel felt very run down and slightly dingy. Very poor quality bedding - it felt old and pilled. We had two rooms and one had a decent shower but the other was not as clean (dust and dirt in floor crevices, the drain was poking up into the shower because the pvc wasn’t flush with shower floor). The window units smelled musty. The road noise from the highway was loud - it was mostly the sounds of racing cars. It was our first time to try Tru and I’ll avoid this line in the future.

The location

It was clean, and the staff were kind and competent.

It’s right next to the highway, so the highway sounds were a little loud. My room had a sound machine in it, which helped cover much of the noise.
