The Market Hotel Groningen

Nice hotel in great location, good breakfast and nice staff. Overall a good stay, right on square but no noise into rooms. Breakfast very nice good choice, nice bar to use also where can sit on square. The staff were very helpful, would stay again in back in town.

The perfect location for visiting Groningen, modern hotel with a great breakfast buffet. The staff are friendly and service focussed. Our room had everything we wanted and the beds are super comfortable. With the window open, there's a bit of noise in the middle of the night as Saturday night partygoers go home. It's a stone's throw from the Forum. Parking was easy - with a discount & there's a great terrace at the front to watch the world go by.

The best hotel in Groningen. Great location, rooms spacious and surprisingly quiet despite looking over a very busy square and pubs that go until very late / early in the morning. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast fine but a little surprising - no table service option just a buffet, no toaster, fruit options very limited, no poached eggs. Can get very crowded at peak times. Very small gym available - weights, treadmill, bike machine and elliptical

Fantastic front desk service and wonderful room (gotta love the square view). Glad to see to that their breakfast and restaurant are back in business as it’s well worthy it.

Hotel is perfectly located, spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast is fantastic and has everything you'd want! If you are driving, know that you need to park in the Forum parking which is underground, behind the hotel itself...don't follow google maps right into the square as we did! Also note that the showers/bathroom are all glass so if you are traveling with a friend who you prefer not to see you naked, this is not for you! We North Americans are a tad bit more prudish than our Euro friends! Toilet is in a separate room which I always find to be awesome! Overall, I'd easily stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were immaculate and modern and the breakfast had tons of delicious options. We would gladly stay at this hotel in the future.

Hotel was great. The staf was very friendly. Dinner was very good. I can not think of anything that need to be improved.
