Cedofeita Back Garden

Modern and very clean with quiet aircon. Comfortable bed. Central location, everywhere is walkable.

The pillows were uncomfortable - too hard. Lack of toilet roll.

Central location within walking distance to attractions. The appartment (ART) has a balcony with a view over the back garden. It was very quiet (pedestrian street on the orher side of the house). The appartment had a nice bathroom and the appartment was overtall clean.

We would have preferred beds with softer mattresses.

Great location, very quiet despite being on a busy street. AC was a wonder. Our host was extremely helpful as well.

The place was compact but had everything I needed, it was functioning and had a very nice view towards the garden. I stayed there a lot as I was spending part of my holiday studying. Also important, it was nice and silent to sleep.

Nothing really to complain about.

Lovely spacious apartment in a great neighbourhood not too far from the city centre. It was good to have a balcony and shared garden at the back of the property and was really quiet at night despite Cedofeita being a hot nightspot.

Maybe a few more coffee pods could have kept us going over the few days we were there but overall it was a beautifully decorated apartment with a well equipped kitchen.

Great location- nice big apartment with all the basics you would need. Close to some great wine shops and grocery store. The front desk clerk when we checked in through the hotel was amazing- super fun and had great suggestions for us.would definitely book again.

We had booked a garden view - which we got but didn’t end up having a balcony. Would have been lovely if there was seating in the back garden to enjoy its beauty.

The location is absolutely excellent. You are surrounded by local cafes (e.g to have breakfast for a couple of euro), brunch places and restaurants. For the first 4 nights we’ve stayed on the first floor studio which was very cosy - but we’ve also spent most of our time outside so we did not use the kitchen for example. For one additional night the staff was so kind and good to us that we managed to get another apartment on the second floor as our studio was about to get occupied by someone else - the other apartment was more spacious but the floors are very noisy (same for the apartment above from which we could hear everyone’s steps). And we use earplugs.. We would definitely return but book the Rockstar studio because the floors were not noisy and we had a more quiet time there.

Be mindful that the beds are small - I believe 140 max 160 cm x 200. For us they were ok but not sure for others. The mattress in the first studio was arching, it needs to be changed. The pillows on the second floor apartment were not good (some were very hard, and some almost flat as a blanket). Overall the rooms were clean but I think that they overlook things that could be easily managed such as a spider web in the corner of the room that can be brushed off, some mould in the shower that can be removed very easily with the specific spray (in Portugal is pretty common due to the high humidity) and some curtains that have small ripped places that could be sew and repaired easily. There is already a cleaning service that customers pay for these apartments so these things should be included.

The location is amazing and we were greeted by a very welcoming host. On the last day, they were kind enough to keep our bags for a few hours. The apartment is small but well equipped.

The bed mattress is not comfortable.
