Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak

We spent a week here from 23rd August until 31st when we moved on to Phuket, however we did not want to leave, from the moment of arrival every single staff member made us feel so welcome, everyone is friendly and always willing to help make a special family get together( met up with Son and Girlfriend who live in Australia) even more perfect. The accommodation, we had the swim up rooms, 3 rooms altogether, were super, they were clean, modern and spacious we could not fault at all. The guys at the pool bar were brilliant with the cocktails and always happy and smiling. The food and drinks were delicious too. My husband and I were lucky enough to also enjoy a massage each which were excellent very professional and super relaxing. This was one of the best family holidays we have ever had made all the more special by everyone at this hotel, Thank you. 😍

I had an incredible experience with PA during my Thai massage. From the moment the session began, PA made me feel comfortable and at ease. The massage itself was absolutely amazing perfectly balancing relaxation with just the right amount of pressure to release tension. PA’s technique was skillful, attentive, and deeply therapeutic, leaving me feeling both energized and completely relaxed. It was easily one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend PA highly enough

I had a lovely stay here. The hotel was calm and relaxing, with tasty food and great service. Lilly and Ben at the front desk were especially kind and welcoming, and Jib made the room booking very smooth. Breakfast was great too – the egg station staff were friendly, cheerful, and made you feel welcome. The staff at the pool bar were also friendly, and the cocktails were really good, which made my time there even more enjoyable. I would be happy to stay here again.

It was amazing got my hair braided the body scrub was relaxing. We had a couples free as a bird package. The girls were wonderful and attentive. Wow

Pa did a wonderful massage, with a body exfoliation and then Free as A Bird massage, highly recommend both or either of these massages

Come back again for Khao lak still good vibes friendly staff. Room is very good. Pran spa is reasonable price and very nice therapist (Khun Pa) Recommend for solo traveler, couple and family

Beautiful hotel with all the details well covered. The facilities are new and well designed. The rooms with access to the private pool are some of the best I have visited and the visual experience is excellent. Far from the tourist centers if that is what you are looking for. What really makes the difference is the staff, all of them are great professionals and give the best service, from reception, maintenance, cleaning services, management..., but I especially want to highlight the people in the restaurants and the spa, they enjoyed their work and this was transferred to the service. As points for improvement: first the area surrounding the hotel, both accesses and the beach need a lot of improvements, I think the effort would be worth. Second, the all-inclusive, it is not clear what is included and what and when can be used. In any case, nothing that does not make it highly recommendable. We were 6 people in three rooms with 4 teenagers. Teenagers were thrilled with their rooms, that being the best test…

Wow – this hotel is absolutely amazing! Without a doubt, the best place we’ve stayed so far. It’s quiet, authentic, and has such a warm atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and spotless. The service is excellent, and every detail feels thoughtfully taken care of. The food is another highlight – the breakfast offers plenty of delicious choices, and we especially loved the eggs Benedict, which was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the spa, which was reasonably priced, and our masseuses were so dedicated and professional. They even braided my daughter’s and my hair at the end of our massages, which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. Another big plus is that the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to the Khao Lak market for just 150 baht round trip. At our previous hotel (the Avani in Khao Lak), there was no such option, and we ended up paying a lot more for taxis. This service makes exploring the area so much easier and more affordable. Before this, we stayed at the Avani, but it felt too big and commercial, lacking the genuine Thai feeling. Here at the Grand Mercure, you really get that authentic charm. I only wish we could have stayed much longer. Another bonus is the location – just outside the hotel you’ll find small shops and local restaurants, making it easy to explore while still enjoying the peace of the resort. The only minor note is that the room didn’t have the option to connect to Netflix or other streaming apps, so we couldn’t watch TV, but this didn’t detract from our overall experience. This place is simply perfect. Highly recommended!
