USUSRoom did not feel safe and felt like a college dorm. Steps crazy steep
USEven though the room was dirty, and the shower hadn't been cleaned, I was ok to stay there for the short 2 nights. Unfortunately, however, it was freezing, and the hotel refused to switch on the heat. Even though it was 40 degrees outside, the heat was off and there was nothing they were willing to do to switch it on. The customer service was completely unhelpful and like robots reading scripts. They have no one on site to help. Because of the very low temperatures, I had to leave and stay elsewhere. There was no convincing to have them refund my stay. It was only after I was about to file a small claims suit agains them that they refunded my stay. Terrible facility and team.

The space is very nice, modern and clean. It is a walk up, so if you have luggage you need to be prepared to go up steep stairs as there is no elevator. They were very responsive to my questions and concerns. It is conveniently located to the University of Pennsylvania. It is in a generally safe area, but it is not an area you want to venture too far by yourself at night.
The place is nice and clean. However, the stairway is very narrow, making it hard to move my luggage up and down the stairs.
The Niche is simple, easy and well priced. No frills but has everything you need!
