"Excellent beach and city destination"

Our family rented multiple rooms for a wedding celebration with ages from 1 to 79 years. This was an excellent experience for everyone. Rooms were large, well furnished with choices of amenities up to two room suites with kitchenettes. Location was ideal with easy walk to a fabulous beach, a tasty coffee and light food shop and the lively dining in Encinitas. Highly recommend a stay here.

"Unterkunft mit Licht und Schatten"

Tolle Lage, nur ein paar Minuten zum Strand. Strandsachen (Stühle, Boards, Bälle…) konnten mitbenutzt werden.

Zimmer hat sehr übel gerochen und die Küchenausstattung war dreckig

They were doing construction nearby on the beach. It was very loud, especially when I was in a room that had a better view of the beach.

"Great small hotel closer to the water than all."

Moollight Beach Motel has been a go to for my family for over 20 years. They have remodeled in the last few years. The rooms are comfortable and nice. Balcony rooms have great views of the beach and ocean. When you can hear the waves crash....it's a rare treat.

"Best location in Encinitas"

This was maybe my fifth stay at Moonlight Beach Motel. I love it for its location, most especially. You just can’t beat it! The staff work hard and are friendly. I can’t wait to return.
