There’s such a warmth that comes from the people who work at this hotel. Kind and enthusiastic and bubbling with personality, each was fun to interact with. The location was great especially if you’d like to walk in nature away from the madding crowd. The mattress felt like it could use an update. Either that or it was just too soft. I don’t understand what hotels have in mind when they design the lighting for rooms, but it was pretty good here everywhere except where you need to put on makeup or contact lenses. I was tempted to walk into the hallway as the mirror by the elevator was well lit! An easy fix could be attaching a lighted magnifying mirror to the wall in the bathroom. We hope that the refrigerator in the kitchen area of our room is fuel-efficient as we can’t imagine that much is ever stored there yet it is a full-size refrigerator plugged in and running. The breakfast was enough to get us going for the day, with lots of options. Not just a continental breakfast at all. It is also nice to be able to come home to the hotel in the evening and get a cup of tea or hot chocolate or coffee at no extra charge. If you’re having or attending a wedding at the venue next-door, it sure couldn’t be easier.

Ms Helen is the Best. We were working in the lobby and she was the sweetest to us. She offered us a few leftover snacks. Her pleasant demeanor made us feel welcomed. We will definitely refer others and will be back
