Thompson San Antonio - Riverwalk, by Hyatt

Worst experience ever, after ckeck out settling the bills 5 days back I was shocked a charge to my card for $125 today, this is unorofessional & should not never happened. Will never stay again at any of thompson Hotels property. This was my 2nd stay in last 15 days in San Antonio & Dallas. SAT experience was horrible, restuarant do not have ordered rink from Menu later is was send to my Room, which is good but 0 billing to charge $125 was kind cheating a customer.

Hotel its self was nice but the check in process was a terrible experience. I would not recommend a stay here as we experienced delay at check in rooms were not available until 5pm on top of this when I can to double check around 4:10 For an updated On check in which is 4 for the general hotel check in. During this time security approaches during my discussion with front desk staff where I was calm and polite, we were subsequently followed up to the pool area where I was relaying the update on the room to my mother. My father noticed this incident as he was standing off to the side while I spoke to front desk staff . This was my experience at this specific location, I have not had this experience at other Thompson locations . On top of this after these issues, we left for dinner and once we returned there was a note and a gift of nuts in my room and I have a severe nut allergy. I was not happy about this but did not want to further complain.

excellent staff, extremely nice and helpful, always willing to help, we missed breakfast so we doordashed and i wanted to surprise my fiance with the room service service ( she loves the metal lids experience in hotels ( you know, women with service and food :) ), so i went to the rest and asked if i could borrow a couple of plates and the metal lids to do that for her, they helped me with plates lids a cart, utensils etc, she was so happy when i knocked the door and came in with the whole cart, deff make her day with that. also it was her bday and the front desk left cake and a bottle in the room when we were out. it was very nice and thoughtful of them. Thanks to everyone.

no complaints on anything, just a little pricey, valet parking a little high as well ( there is no much options to park around) so it was neccesary to use the service, but it was worth it overall.

Connie is amazing, great personality and informative. Truly a pleasure makes you feel comfortable and welcomed.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Thompson. The service at every level was excellent! Korbin was very pleasant while handling our bags and even made recommendations for things to do while we were there for our anniversary weekend. Connie was a delight as well. She was readily available to drive us to various locations and gave us a history lesson on San Antonio. Ashley at guest services was also a joy and was a bright and smiling face to see upon our arrival. The rooms were beautiful and immaculately clean. (A big plus in my book). We also enjoyed that amazing views from the rooftop bar. We will definitely be returning.

This is my favorite Thompson. Near enough to access the riverwalk, but just far enough out to make you feel like you’re in your own pocket of San Antonio. You can dine in hotel, but also pick up top tier restaurants on Broadway and The Pearl, all just 5min drive away. Julie and the team here are outstanding, from the moment you walk in, checking on you mid-stay and when you leave. I can’t wait to rebook.

We had an amazing experience, and Korbin was the icing on the cake. Korbin made us feel right at home from check-in to check-out!

Korbin, the bellman, made our hotel stay exceptional from the moment we arrived. He was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He handled our luggage with care, provided helpful information about the hotel and local area, and always greeted us with a smile.

Experience was top tier. Everyone was very helpful, especially Korbin, who always took the time to greet us and see if we needed anything.

We had an amazing staycation with my wife and my 10 months old baby. I was very impressed that Cammie, the front office manager remembered us from our previous staycation almost two years ago. Before my wife pregnancy we stayed here for our date nights. Almost two years later we were remembered. We felt appreciated. Thompson front dest team are very professional and dedicated with their job. We can’t wait to go back for another staycation. Before leaving the hotel I made another 3 bookings for the month of June. Thank you Cammie for making us feel appreciated! Your team in the front dest are doing amazing job.
