We have stayed at a lot of hotels and this is the first one that I did not feel safe leaving our room. On two separate occasions staff members just walked into our room unannounced. The first time our son was in the bathroom on the toilet, yes he should have shut the door but he's nine. She scared the crap out of all of us and made us uncomfortable. Then it happened again with a different person just letting themselves in and walking into a room. I was beyond pissed at the point and opened back up the door and yelled at them. Completely unacceptable the communication at that hotel obviously is lacking between its staff members. I didn't want to leave our room because I wasn't sure who the heck was going to be going inside of my room while we're gone even if we put the do not disturb sign up. Then after all that we had to switch rooms because the toilet wouldn't flush and almost overflowed twice. The breakfast wasn't anything grand. The reviews and website said big hot breakfast. It was some scrambled eggs, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. Next time we will stay at a Best Westerner or something. I would not recommend this hotel. I will say though the girls up front at the desk were super sweet and helpful.

The breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We drove through two states—from South Dakota through Iowa and Missouri. Your receptionists have the most wonderful smiles!

"Don't think I will be back"

Booked a 2 queen room for 4 adults. Was given a single King with pull out sofa instead. 10:00 at night no other choices. Room entirely too small for 4 adults. One had to end up sleeping on the floor. I was so angry at the situation that we only stayed 1 night of our 2 night stay.

Great place to stay!! Very clean, modern and complimentary breakfast was really good! It’s pet friendly it you are traveling with your pet. It’s in close proximity to plenty of shopping or dining. Perfect area to stay!

We enjoyed our weekend at Hyatt Place. It was a great base for our weekend activities. Hotel was updated, possibly new. Location good, room was spacious. Would stay again next time in town.
