Beautiful contemporary design nicely appointed with well chosen art…the room had a great shower, Nespresso coffee machine…very comfortable bed, etc! Plus there was a nice… but shallow outside, heated pool on a terrace on the 9th floor…

The Humaniti Hotel is ideal as a location to explore Montreal. It's walking distance to just about anywhere and has a new, modern feel. It shares space with an apartment building - but that's not a negative - There's a great bakery/coffee place on ground level and a supermarket next door, which are nice to have nearby.. Overall it hits the right notes and not at a crazy cost.

They ventilation (AC and heating) was turned off in the room. As in, mechanically turned off. So the first night it was 26 C with no air. The guests in the neighboring room partied the entire night. We called security at 11 p.m. and again at 4 a.m. So a pretty miserable night. We eventually got moved to a new room. When we asked for basic information ("Does the bar have a happy hour?"), the response we got was "I don't know". Finally, Humaniti Hotel owed us a refund because we changed our booking. They did not give the refund and I had to call Hotels.com multiple times. As of now, I still have not received my refund. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
