Extremely bad front desk team

Absolutely unacceptable experience from start to finish. I was told I had to pay a $40 daily fee for my service animal, which is illegal. At checkout, when I confronted the front desk, they tried to claim my dog wasn’t a service animal—even though I had all proper documentation. When the manager got involved, he said he would remove only two nights of charges and still make me pay for the remaining night. I refused, explaining it violated their own policy, and only then did they agree to remove all the fees—while giving me major attitude. It didn’t end there. As I headed to my car, an employee ran up saying they “forgot” to charge me for valet and needed to print a new bill. I checked the previous bill and saw that none of the dog fees were actually removed and I had been charged for every night. When they returned with the new bill, it suddenly included three nights of valet, even though I only used two. When I pointed out both bills were wrong, the staff member insisted, “the valet said it’s three nights, so it is what it is.” I had to provide proof that I parked on the street the first night before they finally corrected it. All this happened while I was trying to get to the airport, and at no point did anyone apologize for the repeated mistakes or the inconvenience. Instead, they had the valet hand me the corrected bill rather than walking it back to my car themselves. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The front desk staff were rude, uninformed, and careless. I will never stay here again and absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Was told breakfast was free till 11 am..I don't eat breakfast but did thinking it was free so I would be full for a while then a waitress gave me two bills for $50 each because I had two rooms...wasn't happy about that at all. Plus the lighting in the bathroom was horrible..it was so bright I couldn't even turn it on.

The breakfast is always on point at the AC. I love it so much!

The only thing I can say that I didnt like is how hard it is sometimes to access the bikes on the app. Also I wish the pool had its own towels and that the water in the pool could be more cold.

We had a wonderful stay at the AC Marriott Fort Lauderdale. The breakfast was simply delicious and exactly what we needed to start our day. A special thank you to Simona, who was incredibly helpful and friendly—she truly made us feel welcome. The pool on the 4th floor was very cozy with an amazing view, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would happily stay here again!
