Roami at The Brassline

Multiple issue with customer service. Almost impossible to get issues taken care of. The elevators were out of service mutiple days during our stay 01/16-01/28. There was a fire on the 2nd floor and hotel was not aware until 5 fire trucks had been on site for at least an hour.

This hotel is unhealthy. When we first opened the door to our room, we were met with the most overpowering mold smell. My eyes started to water and it became hard to breath. But I wanted to make it work, because most other hotels were all booked up for the cheer competition. We stayed for less than an hour before my daughter said she felt dizzy and it was hard to breath. We left and luckily we're able to book different hotel. I took pictures of the mold growing up and down the walls, not to mention the weird fuzz on everything. I can't get my pictures to load, but the mold on the walls was everywhere.

WiFi kept going out which made tv go out. Asked for a working microwave 4 times before receiving one on the 4th day. Elevator never worked but 2 nights. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Very convenient to venue that I was attending.

overall, it was decent for what I needed. clean and functional. the front door lock code didn't always work when it should some nights, but I was able to overcome that. the only surprise was that there was no way to get local tv news for morning weather and such, either by cable or even a local over-the-air antenna.

Facility was fine. Was told by the parking lot owner that all the Roami spots were taken and he could get more money from the activities in NOLA that weekend then letting me pay for 48 hrs worth of parking. Called Roami faculty who never called back to advise on her situation. Took 1/2 a day to finally go park at Fulton Parking garage. Communication is awful!

Very humid and noo air circulation in the room. Otherwise a great stay!

We rented a 4 BD / 2 BA for our family. Nice place, good location, but I wouldn’t stay there again. A few things I’d want to share with future travelers: Pros: - Can walk to public transit and French quarter - Allows pets - Good general space; lovely rooftop deck - Comfy beds - Kitchen has the basics - 24 hour phone support helped us fix broken blinds immediately - Great use of tech: virtual host screen in lobby, key pads to get into room and check out, email check in / check out - CVS vending machine and shelves of free extra things like coffee, paper towels for easy self service Cons: - There is zero security. Front doors do not lock and no one is in the lobby … all support is virtual - Window cover in master bedroom had fallen off and were propped up against the wall. Why wasn’t this fixed before we checked in? - Living room only has one small very uncomfortable sofa that seats 3. Totally lame. There is plenty of room for more seating … ADD MORE! We couldn’t all hang out comfortably to eat or watch a movie - Kitchen had ants … thankfully they didn’t appear until our last night but there were a lot - Not as clean as I’d like … found candy wrapper in sofa cushions, I brought a swifter and washed the floors myself after reading other reviews, was quite a bit of dust on perimeter of rooms which triggered allergies - Carpets didn’t look well vacuumed - Property looks a bit ignored … needs paint touch ups, TLC throughout - Stairs up into lobby makes getting in/out with luggage difficult. Lift out front from street into lobby was out of order

This place was a mistake horribly my staying was a nightmare want to change the room because was lot smells what a mistake booking at this place
