Roami at The Brassline

The place is very confortable .lot space on the apartment. The only thing is because is likely rvmb if yo do not report what need to be repair maybe take longer to the owner notices because is to many rooms .example .my unit room 303 the refrigerator have mixed gasket at the door that cause that nothing get cool .and you can store food but maybe no one stay for to many days o no one reported

Roami is a business model that would work for students and those looking for an upgrade from a hostel- definite value for money. I can only describe this as a cross between a hotel and an air bnb. There are different floor plans and units with kitchens. There is no one at the lobby to greet you- all check in and check out is done remotely thru text messages and emails, with very easy step by step instructions. It’s a nice place to put your head down to rest. The room we had is decently clean, sheets were surprisingly soft, but the sink area was discolored and falling apart. The rooftop was in decent shape, fenced in with a fake plant wall. There is a grill, large table and multiple seating areas, the view is of the highway. The design is modern warehouse loft style with exposed bricks and wrought iron. There was a big vending machine for goods you may have left behind, and a shelf for extra pillow, sheets and surprisingly generous bags of really good coffee. Would definitely stay at an Roami again if I was in a town with one.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I chose this property for its proximity to the conference center but had an extremely disappointing experience. Upon arrival, the room was uninhabitable due to a strong mildew smell, excessive humidity, and visible pests, including ants on the floor and roaches in the ceiling corners. I am not high maintenance but this environment was unsafe and unbearable. To make matters worse, there was no staff available onsite or at the virtual kiosk to assist, and the provided contact was unavailable on Saturdays. In a city like New Orleans, which has a high crime rate, the absence of staff made me feel unsafe. Despite having no one to reach out to directly, the property refused to take ownership of the situation and instead blamed me for not contacting them first before I reached out to Expedia for support. After hours of waiting and failed communication, I decided to leave and move to the Hyatt, which was significantly cleaner, safer, and better managed. This property’s lack of cleanliness, maintenance, accessible support, and accountability made for an unacceptable experience. I do not recommend staying here. There are much better options.

The Hotel was located very convenient to the convention center. However, it was not cleaned properly before our arrival. Bedsheets had stains, chocolate wraps in one of the rooms and food on the floor. Also the TVs didnt work in the rooms, only in the living room

When I arrived my door was open, I called customer service to inform them that the door was open on arrival and I did not feel comfortable going in(safety issue) she advised me that it was safe and to proceed to the room. I had to check the room on my on, come to find out the door latch was broken and the door would not lock from the outside. The maintenance team gave me a call and coached me on how to lock the door. I stayed in and stayed awake all night. I was afraid to sleep in New Orleans like that. The next day I received an upgrade and yes it was safe but it was horrible upgrade! The next room: Blinds was tore up, pipes had a water leak and the cabin door was holding on for life. On top of that I had to pay $40 for parking a night. This was a weekend trip just to get some much-needed rest away from everyone and it turned out horrible!!

Beautiful, clean room. I like the location to the convention center. What I didn't like was the traffic noise which affected my sleep. Maybe fewer windows or standard white noise machine to drown the noise.

Property is okay but no staff on the property. Some guests on the same floor were loud and we didn't feel like looking how to contact the staff. It's nice to have someone on the property to help with any issues.

I loved this property I didn’t like dealing with the 3rd party parking. The property only has 8 spots the other spots belong to a 3rd party.

Lance was a fantastic host! While we may have had issues with our stay (actually minor inconveniences), he was very responsive and attentive to everything! All around great guy and host, who made sure we had a wonderful stay! Loved the shelves of stocked supplies in the lobby.

Room nice design. Towels had holes and long black hairs. Toilets had hair on seat. Strange stains on sheets. Nice to have clothes steamer in room.
