The Forester Hotel, part of Unscripted by Hyatt

From the moment we arrived we were comfortable. This property is beautiful and close enough to base and the city that it felt like a good “home base” for our trip. The restaurant was delicious. The food, coffee bar and cocktails were all exceptional.

Very friendly and attentive staff especially the bartender. Beautiful decor and convenient location. Gym is adequate with dumbbells, a cable machine and several cardio options. No free weights or weight machines. I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in a row and had a wonderful experience all around.

Hotel is very clean and staff are helpful and polite. We were able to bring our dog without issue. Location is very safe and allows for easy access to shopping, restaurants and Lake Forest. Fitness center was quiet and very clean. Highly recommend this hotel for families.

We stayed here during Beyoncé concert weekend.(My sister and I) I usually stay in the city, but I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of staying outside the city. The rooms were extremely clean, and the staff were very responsive to our request. We actually ended up extending our stay because the room and customer service was excellent. Check- in was quick with no long wait, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were great, and the hotel has a nice bar and food area. The gym was also clean and well- equipped. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time at The Forester! The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were plenty big and the restaurant downstairs was delicious. Location was nice and easy to get to from the highway. There is also lots of shopping and food nearby too. If you time it just right, you might be able to see Da Bears coming back from their practice facility...

The Forester is a great place to stay. Rooms are immaculate. Service is impeccable. Love having the restaurant/bar onsite. Food is top notch. Hopefully, the weather will get better and I can enjoy the patio on my next visit. Looking forward to my next visit.

Needed a hotel nearby Lake Forest, IL for a short trip with my wife to attend an interior design showcase house. The Forester fit the bill! New Hyatt Place conveniently located near main roads. Nice restaurant inside that we had room service from as well as morning coffee and afternoon tea. Nice bath amenities, very comfortable bed, nice work space (and I got some work done), and an L shaped sofa for sitting or watching the large screen tv. Nice event space too and the hotel accommodated a wedding party during our stay. Front desk staff was amazing. This nice, new hotel has everything you need. Highly recommended

The service was excellent and the response times in the app were really fast. The restaurant was great - fast service as well with very tasty food. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was easy to adjust the temperature via the thermostat!

The hotel is very clean and the all the employees from Front desk to restaurants are super nice and friendly. We have stayed there several times and keep coming back as it is conveniently located very close to expressway and also in a very nice neighborhood. We also enjoyed the great service and expedient delivery of any amenities we need.
