AC Hotel by Marriott Columbus Downtown

Perfect location for walking to the concert at Nationwide.

Roof top bar was closed but was advertised as open

This hotel was absolutely beautiful from the lobby to the room! My room was spotless when I arrived and every time I would leave and come back, they had completed room service, making it as spotless as when I first got here! I’m very grateful for the staff and the experience I had while staying :)

It was close to home! The staff was a disaster the front desk host was rude!

Hotel was very clean and staff seemed to be helpful and polite for the most part. There was no AC in the executive suite and was informed there was an HVAC problem and they were trying to fix it. A box fan from maintenance was the fix and the room stayed close to 80 degrees the entire stay. I was later told that I wouldn’t be charged for the room but instead they charged my card a second time at the hotel for the amount of the room and then credited that amount back. The original payment I made through hotels.com I was still charged for so they didn’t actually do anything except make it appear as if I had been credited for the room. The physical hotel itself is not bad if your HVAC is working properly. The whole ordeal with charging me a second time and refunding that to make it initially appear as if I was receiving compensation for the stay with money I was already owed is petty, low and disrespectful. That’s not how any customer should be treated and frankly I’m shocked that this is a representation of the Marriott hotel managerial staff.
