I liked the price. The room was adequate. There were no amenities, not even a plastic drinking cup to take my pills. Bed was comfortable.

Absolutely nothing!

Absolutely everything! The internet did not work in the room only in the hallway. Also, I had to deal with a face in Kioask.

There is no staff at all. Just houseekeeping before 2pm. The interent had been out for a week no rooms t.v. worked. Nobody tolds upon checking in. It took me personally 1hr to check it due to payment not being excepted. If you have an issue, its one lady on a room on the 2nd flr who may help you. It was a terrible experience.

We came with a Uhaul and there was enough parking for my Uhaul and all the other visitors at the hotel. It is located fairly close to SIU, which is helpful because we were dropping off our daughter and didn't want to make the 5 hr drive back.

Where do I begin. There was no one working the front desk when we checked in. Whoever was working there, left their child at the check in desk and was missing somewhere in the hotel. There was 6 families trying to check in. We had to check in via a computer screen with a man that was in another country. It took us over 45 min to get checked in to the hotel. The front desk woman never came down. Her child just ran off after several guests started to complain. The hotel also took another $100 deposit on top of the charge for the room that will be refunded in 3 to 5 business days after check out. In the room, the tv was not working and neither was the AC. And it was hot. It was a high of 103 degrees that day in Carbondale. There was only an older chain lock for the hotel door which I didn't feel very safe with. I will never go back to this hotel. Several other guests bookings were not correct. I definitely did not want to stay there but could not afford the cancellation fee and another hotel on top of that. There was a sketchy nighclub attached with questionable people walking around. Oh and half the hotel was boarded up and abandoned. Mysterious water was leaking all over the parking lot. This hotel has major potential. It is a beautiful building but there needs to be new management and some major TLC.

I will never go back.

During my entire stay, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unsafety. The environment was unkempt and neglected, which only added to my discomfort. Upon arrival, I had to check in using a self-service kiosk, as there didn't seem to be any staff present to assist me. This lack of personal interaction made the experience even more unsettling. To top it all off, I was required to pay a $100 deposit for incidentals. This seemed quite unreasonable to me, considering the state of the place; it left me questioning how they could possibly assess any damages I might cause. In my opinion, the entire establishment felt like a liability waiting to happen, making my stay extremely unpleasant.

We did not like nothing about this hotel it appeared to vacant which most of its additional buildings were.

It was not safe. There was no staff on the property. There was a loud bar connected to it. Staff was on kios. Doors did not lock. Very moist atmosphere.
