Enough

There was plenty of parking. There were no bugs. The air conditioner worked.

The tv did not work. We were told that someone would come that first afternoon. No one came. We were offered another room but that tv also did not work. We asked again and we were told someone would come in the morning. No one came. In the afternoon, when we asked we were told that we would receive a call letting us know when someone would come. No call. The door didn't automatically close shut and needed an extra tug. The refrigerator was all frosted over. The first set of towels desperately needed to have been bleached. The pillows were simply terrible. Sink didn't drain well at all. The kiosk check-in was too automated with the screen person not being able to make any adjustments, as simple as checking in ten minutes early. The name gave me the expectation that it was affiliated with or endorsed by Southern Illinois University. That isn't the case.

No staff on site was a big surprise...registered via a Zoom like device. Bathroom fan was so loud we had to use the hall light for bathroom illumination. Toilet seat was poorly connected. Continental breakfast was as sparse as they come. This hotel would not be anybody's first choice.

Never saw a person working. Checked in with a person on a kiosks. The floors and walls were dirty, things in the room were broken, the sheets didn't fit the bed. Dry cereal and toast were all that was offered for breakfast. The parking lot had trash all.over it.

Nothing.

Everything.

No help support after midnight

Price was right for my needs

No Plug for bathtub, no rust on shower curtain rod, bed was too high and slightly lumpy. Parking lot was trashed, needed more trash cans. Back/side door should have key card entry for reentry for smokers. Grass was tall growing through pavement.

The place was disgusting and we found out later they were shut down by the city but haven't stopped taking people. Absolutely complete trash.

Good price and location. Virtual check in with clerk was pleasant.

The room was very musty smelling. Upon further inspection we discovered mold in the AC vents and the curtains were covered in mold as well. They did transfer us to another room, however due to breathing issues we decided not to stay there. .
