Geneva Hotel & Tiki Bar

The tiki bar is fun! But the room I swear has never been mopped and there was empty alcohol cans left in the bathroom, which tells me the cleaning was not so thorough.

Check in process was super easy! The pillows were comfortable. Having the river out the back door was really nice.

Very outdated property! Overall motel is in very poor condition, parking lot has more potholes than asphalt! Needs major upkeep and repairs. Housekeeper did a decent job as my room smelled clean, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the linens and towels were very cheap. This is NOT a good property for families.

Very beautiful property, well kept, nice staff that make you feel welcome. Pet friendly. Food was excellent, that was a big help. Beautiful view of the Broad River. Terry is an excellent manager

I found the rooms very clean and neat the property as a whole outstanding with yard work ongoing here in the spring I could tell it's manicured to be enjoyed on a river it's hard to look planned or thought out but that's what they've been able to do here the onsite (tiki bar) is friendly and comfortable and with the local influx it's quite the conversation starter getting to know what's going on in the area The management goes above and beyond in ensuring you have a relaxed and enjoyable experience each and every day convenient walk to town or to the beach it's centered perfectly and back to the grill the food was good and service top notch but the offerings were slim but it's enough to quinch that hunger pain! LoL I recommend giving it a go especially if you're lucky enough to get the west apartment!! Absolutely the bomb!! The shower is gorgeous and the kitchen only lacks coffee cups as if that's troubling .ha ha Geneva is the place for staying when visiting Chimney Rock N.C.✌️

Unfortunately, the Expedia booking says that there are extra amenities in the room which there are not. The office is closed 24/7 however there is an on-site manager. The room was very bare. There were not even curtains covering the window only blinds barely covering the window. . I was on the backside by the Tiki lounge and beware it is loud and rowdy at night. I booked the room based on the claims that it had cooking utensils and servingware, which it did not. I spent extra for that room. Expedia would not refund my money nor would the hotel respond. When I got there the first night, my deadbolt was broken, and I almost got trapped inside the room. I was able to get it open, but then it wouldn’t shut. Manager said he would fix it and did after my second staying with my luggage piled up in front of the door. My door Was also about 20 feet from the trash dumpster which animals drug trash out of every night. There’s very limited parking.
