Geneva Hotel & Tiki Bar

The property is nice.

Overall, good experience. I prefer carpet but understand why there is tile. Bed was comfortable and we liked easy access.

Website said hotel had been "renovated" recently. Definitely was not. The vanity and vanity light had been replaced and that was it. Room wasn't very clean. Dirty fingerprints on the bathroom light switch, cigarette burns in the bed comforter, dead bug on the floor (at least it was dead). This place is a biker bar/hotel. Cops were there several times. Hotel guests above us were very loud. This place was more motel than hotel. The owner was actually really nice but that's about the nicest thing I can say.

Good location but above unit was very noisy and the bar locatednless than 30 ft was constantly noisy.

Wonderful place, staff was very helpful and nice. The place was well keep and very clean. The view was amazing and the tiki bar located in the back is great.

Had a great stay! Staff was awesome! Stay was and is very memorable! Great place to visit and I highly recommend!

Beautiful view, relaxing environment

Geneva Motel was clean and comfortable. My room was in the back in which I could walk out the door and right to the Tiki bar/grill. Ate majority of my meals at the Tiki bar and they were delicious. Ventured out for breakfast Friday morning. Friday night was karaoke night so I was able to sit at my room door and watch the festivities. The owner and other staff were friendly and offered plenty of suggestions on where to visit and other restaurants in the area. Love the fact that Geneva is pet friendly. Would definitely visit again soon!

Sometimes you find a special little gem and this is one. It's a very nostalgic old time hotel that reminds me of days gone by. With that being said, the facility and rooms have been updated and were very pleasant and clean. The staff checked with us daily to be sure all of our needs were met and if there was anything else they could do for us. My stay was in October and the nights were getting chilly so we had a roaring fire in one of the fire pits while listening to the river below. Guests and staff gathered around and we had a wonderful time chatting and enjoying the company. Then there's the Tiki Bar, what an added bonus. It's located on the property so it's always convenient and the bartenders were friendly and engaging. The food was good, fresh cooked with fast service and we ate there often. The location is close to town and Chimney Rock, Lake Lure and Bat Cave are right there. For us it was the perfect little getaway. I came away from my stay there with new found friendships and I can't wait to go back. Thanks ya'll for a wonderful time.
