Geneva Hotel & Tiki Bar

The rooms had no carpet and have been redone as they were very clean. The heat was only a space heater but had window A/C. No coffee pots in your room. The hotel has an outside pot everyone must share to make individual cups. The Tiki Bar is the only place close by to party and drink. The Kareoke was a lot of fun and the Riverside river was in the backyard-awesome. Come with a fridge/microwave. Loved the view and Tiki Bar most fun.Walking distance to Lake Lure and Chimney shops.

Great affordable place by the river. Manager, Terry was awesome; he went above and beyond. He even threw together a small ramp for my son in electric wheel chair so he could join us in the house rental! His wife, Morleen was very sweet and helpful as well! We will be back in July!

We really enjoyed our stay at Geneva. The manager, Terry and his wife were awesome. Terry went above and beyond for us; he made the house accessible for our son in electric chair! He made a little ramp and it worked perfectly! We were in town for our daughter's wedding at Lake Lure and he let us stay a a little longer after check out to get some beautiful pictures out back by the river...We even booked a return trip for the summer for our annual family vacay. This may be our new vacay spot!!

Great manager! Terry went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. we were in town for our daughter's wedding and he allowed to stay a little longer to get some awesome photos of the newly weds at the beautiful river behind the hotel. The house is great with lots of room and everyone had a great time. Nice amenities, good shower pressure and hot water. We have already booked a return for our week's vacay in July!

Worse experience ever on a trip. I don’t recommend this place

Very nice for an overnight stay. Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. They are pet friendly The only issue and it wasnt hotel related was the lack of convenience store or open restaurant. Again not the hotels fault. Only other issue was the hours of the hotel restaurant wasnt posted on the menu in the hotel room.

We stayed in one of the suites (#7 on the end). First the good... The suite is very spacious, has an awesome wraparound deck, and the massive shower was a welcome surprise. The location is top-notch, right in the heart of Chimney Rock Village and very close to Lake Lure's many amenities. The staff we interacted with were friendly. Onto the bad... We booked the one-bedroom suite so as to accommodate three guests (which was stipulated at the time of reservation). The suite features two double beds in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa in the living room. Sadly, the suite was not equipped with linens or blankets for the pull-out sofa. We did not realize this until we returned to the room late, when the front desk was closed. This meant our friend had to sleep on the sofa itself (with no blanket) rather than enjoying its pull-out functionality. We accept some responsibility for not double checking the linen situation before going out for dinner, but really—should we have to? If you're offering a pull-out sofa, equip the room with the appropriate linens OR double check with the guest at the time of check-in whether linens will be needed so they can be provided right away. Finally, onto the ugly... the bed closest to the closet in suite #7 has bedbugs or some other unwanted six-legged visitors. One of us was bitten to high heavens with arms and neck covered. Verdict: great location, spacious, but the beds all need checking, and some attention to detail would go a long way.

This place was a last minute thing. We decided to stay one night in Chimney Rock. They have a fantastic bar on the property. Met some fun people. It is an older hotel, still nice but rather loud. But a fantastic spot for the price and location. So close to the main street of Chimney Rock.
