Geneva Hotel & Tiki Bar

Room smelled strongly of dog pee. Shore head was very low (we are both about 5’8” and had to stoop or bend to get head under shower head). No electrical outlets available in bedroom. Only outlet available was near the floor in the “closet” area. Could hear person in next room snoring. No cell phone reception in room, but could get reception just outside the door, so the area was not the problem. Room felt like a dungeon. On the positive side, the room was clean and the manager was nice and friendly.

Great little find. Weekend get away. Right off river. Kayak rental and drop next door. A 2 minute drive to little beach. A 4 minute drive to Chimney Rock Village with great shopping. A tip..... everything shuts down by 930pm. There is an Ingles (grocery store) about 20 minutes just up by Lake House Restaurant which is also very good place to eat!

This is not a good place to stay. Felt very unsafe - dirty conditions - loud people arguing in the next room, all night - paper thin walls.

Tiki bar area was very unsatisfied. They were rude and started fights with the guests

We rented several rooms, including the house and apartment for the weekend for a family gathering/ birthday celebration! Everybody loved it! Terry and his wife do a great job running the place.

Great location

I liked the CLEANLINESS, affordability and 2 double beds, microwave, fridge, coffee provided in common area, Tiki bar, pool, the river. The property was older, but updated and maintained well.

Friendly and accommodating staff. We were late getting in and only staying one night but they kept the restaurant open late for us. The view of the creek and mountains behind was beautiful.

The property could stand for some up grades on the beds and window units

Rooms just didn't appear to be clean. Safety was also an issue.
