Hotel Melby Downtown Melbourne Tapestry Collection By Hilton

First and foremost, I must compliment the staff at The Melby. They are a step above even other Hilton locations. They are welcoming, incredibly patient, and have an impressive knowledge of both the facilities and the neighborhood. In particular, the front desk team, including Monica, Cat, and Collin (all exceptional), are wonderful and make me look forward to my next visit. The atmosphere of the property is warm and inviting, and the boutique style is appreciated. The rooms are spotless and comfortable.

$25 dollars to park … really ? You are staying there overnight , which usually means you are most likely driving . Ridiculous, just a money grab….

The view was the most attractive of the property, and in addition to that was the rooftop bar, and the bed was very comfortable.

During our stay, the elevator shut down with people and children in it and it took a very long time for assistance to help them so that was a little discouraging when went to use the other functional elevator. Also as we were on the rooftop eating our breakfast, we were attacked by swarms of noseeums that unfortunately gave us bites all over and made it very uncomfortable to continue our meal without being disturbed, we actually had to relocate inside to pay our tab.

From walking in the door and being greeted so warmly at the desk to the phenomenal experience of watching the sunset from the rooftop restaurant, this place has an incredible vibe. It features a modern industrial feel but with more warmth. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and kind. In particular, Monica was wonderful about explaining everything related to our stay. Noel at the rooftop restaurant, The Landing, impressed us with her knowledge of the menu ingredients, the town, and the stunning sunset views from the top of the restaurant. I highly recommend staying at the Melby if you're ever in the area. It’s close to everything and within walking distance of all the best shops and restaurants downtown.

The floor of the shower was a little dingy looking other than that all amazing
