Condo on the Beach at the Sands Onetangi

Location was excellent 👌 Condo was also excellent

Just some minor issues but all in all was excellent

Location is fantastic! Right on the beach. Gorgeous walk to local restaurants, central location on Waiheke. Good cooking facilities. Warm during winter with the heaters provided (September)

There’s a few things from previous reviews that haven’t been fixed yet - shower in the middle room flooding despite best efforts (limited us to 1 shower between 4 adults), no curtains / blinds on the windows. I would consider staying again but probably not in summer as there is no aircon. Main light needs fixing/lightbulb change in the living room. Small bit of sprucing up and installing aircon would make it closer to the “luxury” name it’s given.

Location was amazing - across the road from the beach and short walk to a couple of nice restaurants.

The main bathroom leaked water when you turned it on so the floor got very wet. The sofa in the lounge was a bit dated and dirty. It was very expensive for what you got.

Excellent apartment with everything you needed for the stay. Great location

The shower in the ensuite flooded the floor, extra floor towels or a mop would have been handy

The condo was spacious with comfortable beds

The smell on entering was very unpleasant and there was no air conditioning

right opposite the surf beach and 1 km from 3 cafes. A quieter part of the island. Good modern property

In line with cost of other properties on WI which tend to be more expensive than other parts of NZ given everything needs to be ferried across.
