Condo on the Beach at the Sands Onetangi

Amazing location. The apartment was modern and a good size. It had everything we needed.

Windows were dirty and would have benefited from insect screens on bedroom windows as there were a lot of mosquitos and the repellant left in the apartment didn't work. As the weather was so hot it would have been nice to be able to leave the windows open without insects coming in.

Locations is excellent , 30s walk to the beach which is stunning. Very nice restaurants close by and quick drive to other shops and wineries

Just a few housekeeping matters, dirty oven, brken shower hose fixing, lights coming out of the ceiling

Great location across from the beach, close to the 50A bus route. You just use an AT Hop card to log on and off. You can purchase and top up at the ferry terminal in Auckland and on Waiheke. Three great restaurants within a short walk and 20 minute(slightly uphill) to well stocked Four Square and a liquor shop. It was so easy to go back to the main shops at Ostend via the 50 A bus and then use the bus to get to some vineyards. You can also catch the 50 B bus but its last stop is more of a walk from the accomodation-quite doable though. On our last day when we had to check out and had bags that we didn't want to drag around, we took the 50A bus from near the accommodation, to the ferry terminal, hired a locker for a few hours, and then caught the bus back to go shopping at Ostend and then on to Stonyridge Vineyard. It was a good plan!

The fact we only had two nights! I could not connect the internet to the t.v despite it having that capacity (may have been operator error) but being able to use Netflix would have been good. Sky T.V is provided though.

Beds weren’t that comfy, never good to have singles zipped together

Great location by the beach. Quiet location.

Unfortunately our apartment was ground floor at the back and didn’t have any view. A few broken things in the apartment.
