Modern accommodation with a good restaurant

Had to find a hotel in a hurry with the recent train strike, and ended up here. Ticked all the box: close the airport, clean, friendly, very quiet room, full block out blinds, modern bathroom. Internet connected Smart-TV (though I could not work out how to get free-to-air TV). Fast reliable Internet. While I was working I felt like a beer, so went down to reception to grab it, and it was fresh from tap! Nice! So can recommend!

Hotel very conveniently located, very close to the airport and next to a parking with shuttle service (ParkHaus). New building, nice rooms and a nice Indian restaurant on the ground floor. The owner at the desk is always keen to help. Definitely my night stop when flying international from Frankfurt Airport.

The apartment very clean. New. Silent. No air conditioning. the lamps by the beds had no bulbs. I asked reception and they didn't have bulbs available. Room didn't have glasses. They were helpful, but borderline hospitable. Price Ok.

The rooms were quiet and clean, great experience.

When I checked in, there was a sign on the desk saying that there was no air-conditioning. When I left the next morning, the front office was closed and locked. I had asked the staff member at check-in to order me a taxi for the next morning. Next morning - no taxi and I could not get into the office to ask to have a new taxi called. (Fortunately, I was able to flag down a taxi, which I shared with two other people from the hotel who had not been able to get a cab called for them that morning.)

Sunset reception only opens at 2pm so no point arriving earlier...no airconditioning but rooms are quite large and new and the windows open. Good Indian restaurant for dinner...the Moxy Hotel is one minute's walk across the road and has an air-conditioned bar and we also went there for breakfast because Sunset's coffee machine is broken.

they would lock the entrance doors in the middle of the day and there would be no one available to let you in. With temperatures in the hi 80's, no air conditioning in the rooms.

Good and bad: We stayed overnight at the hotel to catch an early AM flight the next morning. The price was good, and the reviews online seemed a bit too positive, but we booked regardless. Positive: -friendly bilingual staff -clean room, comfy bed Negatives: -no air conditioning, which had the room oppressively hot in the hot June weather. We had to open the window to stay semi cool. -the worst thing was that there was a large, loud party going on in the restaurant below our window. Of course the drunks got rowdy and louder, and while I assume the revenue generated by a full restaurant is good for the hotel, we had to yell out of our window twice to get them to shut up. They finally ended the party around 1 AM, which didn't help our sleep when we had to get up at 4 AM. Assuming that you're not staying on a night where there's a party going on, and the hotel opts to install air conditioning units in each room,. then I can recommend this hotel. I have to wonder though if the large percentage of 10/10 reviews weren't purchased by the hotel from an online reviewing service....
