Location

Room was not clean. There were marks on the pillows which were put in my room in the toilet. The dustbin was not cleared from the previous customers which was disgusting.! the shower in the bathroom did not work despite us booking a suite. There was an odd smell in the room probably the carpets are far too old. There is a tub in the bathroom, which was not clean! Overall, the hygiene was really, really poor. I will not want to stay here again.

Very easy self check in. Lovely room overlooking the river. Extremely clean throughout, big comfortable bed. Small fridge with fresh milk. Very nice breakfast delivered to your room.

The location is good, nice view out of the window of Euro suite over the river. The breakfast was good, delivered to the suite in a timely fashion. Good quality ingredients. The bed was very large and comfortable.

The over all feel was a bit shabby. The entrance hall and stairway was scuffed and unimpressive. The furniture, apart from the beds was cheap, cheap prints in cheap frames on the wall, the drawer unit was low quality. The toilet was not properly cleaned a build up of grime around the hinges of the toilet seat. The bath had either not been cleaned properly or the wrong product had been used it looked like it had limescale, the enamel was cloudy and scratched. There was no plug in one of the sinks. Apart from the toilet I wouldn't have been too bothered about these problems if it was a reasonable price but at £225 for a night I expected a feeling of luxury.
