Old Bank Rooms

Poor tired room, food left all over the floor in the entrance to the stairs, scaling hot water in the shower unable 2 use.

The breakfast was great

The heating didn’t work. The shower handle was broken. The cafetière needs replacing.

Although unstaffed, we had a great experience and we’d recommend Old Bank Rooms to you. We stayed in ‘Euro’ for just one night. Clean, quiet, no smell from the chip shop below. Room great. Breakfast slightly weird (you have to have it in your room) but really nice.

Corridors are totally dark until automatic lights come on. Pre-visit comms just kept coming but we’re very confusing - carelessly prepared and waaayyy tooo looong….

The breakfast was fine. But the room was so small it was impossible to eat it comfortably. We took it outside.

The room was hot, noisy and uncomfortably small. You could have been more transparent about that. Parking was also a hassle. We had to move our car twice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, having it delivered to our room was a real treat, we especially enjoyed the selection of different breads. The choice of breakfast is varied and mouthwatering, our rooms at the old bank were exactly how we had hoped for, large and airy with a huge comfy bed, the bathroom had beautiful old style fittings with the most gorgeous slipper bath that even had a champagne bucket and stand next to it. The view from our windows was of the river….our stay at the old bank rooms was perfect for us in every way. Oh one more thing and it’s extremely important especially for us ladies…. the lighting in the bathroom is great for getting ready, you can see everything clearly, it’s not dark and dingy like most hotels.

This question made me laugh out loud as there really wasn’t anything about the old bank rooms that we didn’t like
