Modular Rooms

Fine place to sleep. Extremely clean, modern and very secure in the heart of Madrid. But if you’re looking a a big room to move around in, this isn’t for you. These rooms are beds in cubicles / pods, with a secure door and a locker for your luggage. Our room even had a large TV. The showers, albeit small, are new and beat most Airbnb’s. As a couple, we stayed one night, but could have done a few if we weren’t moving on. Madrid is great and this spot is safe, well-run, clean in the right location. And priced right.

Far too hot to have a decent sleep in Air conditioning only blows out hot air, and to be expected there is no ventilation in the pod so the hot air circulates.

The rooms, bathroom and kitchen were very clean, with some cleaning done once a day or more. The matress was very good and comfortable. Bed sheets, pillows and towels were provided and they were very clean as well. The staff was helpful, respectful and helpful, much appreciated!

You need to be aware that the whole building has no windows, not just the bedrooms, so we ended up spending most of our time outwide because it was a bit "strange" inside. The kitchen only has one oven for cooking and not many utensils, not even a real coffee machine. So we ate mostly outside, don't plan for big cooking there.

We had a great stay at Modular Rooms in Madrid. The location is very central and it is easy to walk from there, to all main touristical attractions and museums. The rooms, bathroom and kitchen were very clean, with some cleaning done once a day or more. The matress was good and comfortable. Pillows, towels and bed sheets were provided and they were super clean as well. Rooms come with a TV as well, the screen is big and with a very good resolution. You need to be aware that the whole building has no windows, not only the bedrooms so we spend more time outdoors than inside, because it felt a bit strange. Also the kitchen only has one oven for cooking and not many utensils, so don't plan for a lot of cooking as it is not so convenient for that. The staff was awesome! We didn’t catch her name, but she was super kind and helpful. She explained everything quickly since it was late, but still made sure we got it. We totally forgot our IDs at reception, but she left them in our locker before finishing her shift. So thoughtful!
