Brio Beach Inn

One the beach. The room was clean. The staff all smiles, professional, but engaging. As you can see from the picture there are plenty of lounge chairs on the beach. The scrambled eggs were good, as were the very small sausages. They have bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and juice. A very good coffee machine with “mode” choices: hot chocolate, americano, espresso,etc.

The room is tiny. There is not a chair, table or dresser. The toilet is really low to the floor. I decided to shower at 9pm and there was no shower curtain. The office was closed. They provided a shower curtain the next day. There are plenty of chairs on a cemented area over the beach and a gazebo in back of the that. Allowing shade and excellent views. However, under the chairs seats were spiders galore. We killed two spiders in our room. There were no bowls for the cereal-one must poor milk into the cereal box.

Location was perfect! Close to Traverse City, amazing beach-front location, super close to the airport! Great for couples or singles, rooms are cozy and clean. Little continental breakfast was a nice touch!

Only suggestion I'd make is a little wash station to rinse sand off our feet so we don't track sand into the rooms.

Beachfront location with chairs and a fire pit. 2 story renovated inn, motel style. Clean rooms, comfortable beds.

Rooms were small.

Room was extremely small,no area to put your l Luggage or toiletries.black hairs found on window sill ,bathroom under shelf and IN MY BED!.hair dryer did not work,had to ask for different one,shower stall floor was stained with “ caulk” in the corner. Never again!!!

These rooms are not lakeside or lake view. The property is lakeside but the rooms are parking lot views! No seating outside your door and no screen door to leave door open to the tiniest room on earth. 8x10. No mirror but in the tiny bathroom. No bathroom counter space. No place to put luggage or hang clothing. No drawers. No beach towels. We were unable to get a refund for our 2nd night, as they wanted a 24 hour notice. This was 332.00/night! We cancelled our 3rd and final night, but 48 hours later as I write this review I still have not received the refund. I stopped back in after we checked out to talk to someone but no one was around. Also called several times, no one answered. Sent 3 messages, no one replied.

I love staying in the gazebo watching the lake while eating. Thank you for the hospitality.

Check in was easy and staff was very friendly and attentive. Nothing fancy about the room but that’s ok, it did have a view of the bay which was nice. The beach was beautiful, clean and a nice place to relax/unwind and also was the sunrise. Would stay here again for sure
