"Amazing stay, wonderful staff"

10.0

Had such a wonderful time at St. Regis! It is on the farther and quieter side of the island but that’s all i need. Traveling offseason has great perks - It felt like my own private island. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. The room is amazing! Overlooking the blue waters of Bermuda. I didn’t even need to leave. I had room service for breakfast one time and yes you should definitely try the Bermuda breakfast. Those fishcakes are delicious! They offer shuttle service to town. The driver is so nice and has great recommendations. Wahoo’s Bistro is a nice local restaurant. The hotel is also walking distance to the bus station so it’s easy to go to Hamilton and the airport. Will definitely come back when it’s warmer to try scuba diving and to visit you all again.

"Excellent Stay!"

10.0

Wrapping up a magical mid-winter stay at the St. Regis Bermuda. For those seeking a tranquil, relaxed, off-season getaway near the U.S. East Coast, with pleasant temperatures in the mid-60s to low 70s, this resort is an ideal choice. Initially, I was disappointed to receive a pre-departure email informing me that my Marriott upgrade request had been denied but this turned to joy when I received a complimentary Marriott Bonvoy platinum upgrade from a regular room to an oceanfront, king-size suite ($1400+/night upgrade!). The other complimentary amenities at this hotel were very good - admission to nearby Fort St. Catherine, an afternoon/evening shuttle service to nearby St. George’s, the iconic sabering ceremony, and a variety of locally inspired traditional treats. There was also a free, delicious breakfast option ($40) or points available at certain Bonvoy levels. The staff at the resort was exceptional - professional, friendly, kind, and always ready to assist. I really appreciated the kindness from Mitzi, Anket, Sergi and butlers Rudolph and Bahketi (my great apologies for poor spelling and wrong names!). The setting is simply magical, perched at the tip of this breathtaking island. Nestled in a sheltered, scenic cove, the resort is a 20-minute walk to charming St. George’s and conveniently located near the airport compared to other resorts on the island. It’s far from the hustle and bustle of Hamilton and the busy cruise ship Dockyard. While the hotel will gladly help with local tours and transportation during your stay, it’s advisable to arrange them in advance.

"Hot Tub Follies"

8.0

We stayed at the Residences, which are two condo style buildings up the hill from the main property. We were in building two, which had its own pool, which was nice. The residence itself is lovely, very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, nice living area and kitchen and fantastic views of the ocean. Dinner in the main restaurant was very good — like everything in Bermuda it was expensive but not outrageously so. The check in process was very lengthy. We arrived on a Saturday after Christmas so definitely a busy check in time, but we waited for about an hour to have someone ready to check us in and explain the property. The staff was generally very nice. I wouldn’t say anyone took a particular interest in us or our experience but that’s fine. Most staff was nice and helpful. I need to talk about the pool situation on the main property. There are two pools. In front of the nicer, warmer pool there is a small sign that indicates it is the “adult pool.” I did not notice this sign until our sixth day. There is also a hot tub, the only hot tub available to guests, which is attached to the “adult pool.” I did not notice the sign and would not have thought that there were any restrictions on who could use this pool or the hot tub, because there were constantly kids — of all ages — using this pool and hot tub over the first five days. On the sixth day, me and my teenagers were walking over to the hot tub and a worker — with the professional courtesy of a DMV employee — snapped “no kids in the hot tub.” I was stunned because there were constantly kids in the hot tub. I asked the manager to come down and confirm. He did. The worker was acting at his direction. He said people come for a serene experience. I started to hear more stories of kids, minding their own business, getting ousted from the pool or hot tub. It was a source of considerable frustration. Why a hotel where seemingly the vast majority of the guests were traveling as a family after Christmas would ban everyone under 18 from the hot tub when the daily temperature does not usually exceed 70 degrees is beyond me, but if that’s their policy they should enforce it consistently. Literally an hour after we were told our teenagers were not allowed in the hot tub, there was a child and a baby in the hot tub and a different worker was bringing them drinks! I liked him a lot better!! This all goes to the point that this is not a serious, 5-star type resort. The rooms are lovely but there are areas that smell weird, there is clear favoritism toward certain guests, and generally a wary “what are you up to” vibe that is not consistent with a top notch property. It was a perfectly nice, but expensive, place to stay for the week after Christmas but it has a long way to go in order to be great.

"St Regis for the holidays"

10.0

Spent five relaxing nights at the St Regis Bermuda, including Christmas. Was treated to an upgraded oceanfront suite, the Caroline Astor Suite, room 1256, that had gorgeous views of the ocean. We played golf every day at the onsite Five Forts GC, where the head pro Alex and his team took very good care of us. The course was in excellent shape and the rounds were all under three hours. The new dinner menu at Lina (no longer BLT Steak) was excellent this year, as was the service. All in all, we very much enjoyed the five-star experience at the St Regis and look forward to another visit in 2026.

"nice property"

8.0

Had beachfront balcony room. The property of course is very nice. Some downsides that we experienced: the balcony furniture has a covered portion on the bottom of the chairs so the pigeons like to go under there and poop all over the balcony on a daily basis! Had to have them come and clean it twice. It is odd that the bathroom is in the middle of the first room you walk through but so be it. The food as I have found in the Caribbean as well is also lacking but I don't think anyone goes for the food. The BLT restaurant offered I guess some version of a frozen piece of meat that would never be suitable at that price point anywhere but I also understand this meat is frozen and has to be shipped or flown in. Birds Landing on your table Etc is the usual in the outdoor restaurants. It's convenient but don't expect too much but do expect to pay! You can now rent electric cars instead of being obligated to use mopeds as a non-resident. Expensive but convenient. They will bring it to the hotel parking lot for you. I went down to the lobby to ask for ice and instead of providing it they told me where I can go find some and I think it was the outdoor bar. I would have expected better service. The most annoying thing that I can recall is just as the sun was Rising and the blackout curtains were doing their job I heard a noise that wouldn't stop. Eventually I got up it was still too dark to see but literally the sun was just rising and I was able to identify the gentleman using the gas powered lawn trimmer to take care of the sidewalk edging. Literally woke me up in my $1,600 a night room for lawn maintenance. I understand it has to be done but I guess they balance that versus Annoying everyone at the pool midday and decided to just annoy the people with the beachfront balcony rooms.

"Lovely anniversary trip w our small dog. Super friendly"

Privacy and not far walk to town (15minutes)

It’s on the east side, so if you like sunsets, it’s not the best, but the location is still serene

"Incredible Property! 11/10"

10.0

Absolutely 11/10. We just returned from a long weekend at the St Regis Bermuda and WOW. Had been slightly unsure given some of the reviews saying food wasn't up to snuff or some staff not great but 100% of our experience was AMAZING. Staff perhaps best of all the things we loved -- everyone extremely friendly from Nelson at the bell desk to both Josh and Emma at check-in. Smiles everywhere and amazing how most staff somehow knew our names! Wow! We enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning and had lunch on beach one day and thought all the food was amazing! Had a great massage (be aware the spa facilities are not expansive or fancy, but the treatment was great). We were upgraded when we arrived and the room was HUGE and bed super comfy. Golf was great and we had the course to ourselves. Honestly cannot wait to return and we have stayed at many luxury properties in Bermuda, so that's saying something. Oh and complementary champagne at check in and sunsets!! THANK YOU for the best anniversary celebration St Regis!!
