The St. Regis Bermuda Resort

Paradise just a few hours from home! The resort was beautiful and a quick drive from the airport in a quiet area. We stayed in the residences which was perfect to give us space as we were traveling with our 6 month old. There was never an issue getting a beach or pool chair, and there are separate adult and family pools so those with children don’t feel that they are bothering other guests. It was great for our family but probably wouldn’t be as good for families with older children as there aren’t a lot of activities for kids. The food is excellent, but the hotel could use more variety- there is really only one restaurant- it changes its name at dinner but is physically the same space (there is also the lobby bar, which serves dinner). The food at the lobby bar was the best! The resort offers a shuttle to town where there are more restaurants. Tobacco bay is also a 5 minute walk, which is a nice way to spend an afternoon. Overall, excellent hotel for a quiet relaxing vacation.

The hotel St. Regis Bermuda should be rated 5 stars. It was gorgeous, modern, clean and the room was magnificent. The staff was the most accommodating and elegant staff I have ever encountered at a hotel in my life. The dining room was more beautiful than my finest dining experience in NYC. The food was delicious and so well prepared with such quality ingredients. We ate at the hotel for 4 nights and every meal was fantastic. We even got pizza delivered to the room and that was A++. The pool and beach were both very tropical and perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway. The hotel never felt crowded and the service on the beach was unbelievable as were the cocktails. They didn't miss a beat in one area, this hotel was top shelf from check-in to check out, we even stayed an extra day in the rain!!! I am already planning what week next year we will go back, I would have everything exactly the same, except I would hope to stay for longer. I would change nothing about our experience, it was truly perfect in every way. Restaurants in this Hotel: St. Regis Bar - in Bermuda hotel, one of the best hamburgers I have ever had in my life. The sushi was not to be believed, melt in your mouth amazing. The fries and onion rings were superb. We ate here twice during our stay. St. Regis Bermuda room service - it was so impressive we actually ordered twice during our stay, the Pizza was better than NYC pizza, we had that for two nights. We also ordered the crudités and the ranch was like no other dressing I have ever tasted. The room service was also delivered in a timely manner both times from a lovely staff member. St. Regis Bermuda Lina Restaurant - Breakfast daily. We had the breakfast buffet which was luxurious and expansive. Fresh food beautifully prepared and just simply ordering eggs over easy (included in the buffet) were the best eggs I had ever had in my life. The service was top notch at breakfast as well, they were very careful to call us by our names and offer us constant coffee refills and cleared the table immediately. The food at the buffet was fresh juices, breads, oatmeal, fresh toppings, it was a breakfast buffet that dreams are made of!

Read the reviews before booking. The ones complaining about poor service are sadly 100% accurate. Staying currently here how and aside from the first day, the service by the concierge, housekeeping, and the pool/beach are unacceptable for this resort. It ruins the experience. The servers for the pool and beach are more interested in flirting with ladies by the bar than actually attending to the guests. The service with the exception of one day (Mijo was great) has been atrocious. They might as well put out a liquor cart and let guests make their own drinks. The washer in our residence would not drain and the water heater is leaking into the hallway. Maintenance was supposed to fix it a couple days ago but it still leaks everywhere. We had to put towels down to top the leaking into the hall. The housekeeping service comes when they want and sometimes not at all until you call. They don’t seem to have vacuumed in four days. These issues have been brought to the attention of the hotel manager and he or she has yet to address them. I have little hope it will be addressed. Maybe if they address it and change staff behavior during the remainder of the week my sentiments will change. The hotel has potential—great beach—but there are other very good options in Bermuda (Loren, Rosewood, and soon the reopened Fairmont. I would consider the other options rather than spend the money to stay at the St. Regis. These are issues one would expect during a soft opening of a hotel as opposed to one that has been open long enough to work out the kinks.

Absolutely beautiful property! The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The restaurant is excellent the staff is Amazing! Can't wait to come back to beautiful Bermuda!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the St. Regis Bermuda! This resort is in a fabulous location, with a beach just an elevator ride and a few short steps from the guest rooms. The beach was well-equipped with many lounge chairs and umbrellas and the crystal clear water is perfect for floating/swimming! The hotel grounds and the guest rooms were beautiful, with large balconies and an oversized bathroom with a bathtub. Every single staff member we encountered was so friendly, but we especially enjoyed talking with Zaldy during our dinner at BLT! The food throughout the resort was phenomenal. We can't wait to return to the St. Regis next summer!
