Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They did accidentally deliver our room service breakfast to the wrong room one morning but we're quick to make it right and didn't charge us for the inconvenience. The concierges were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us when we asked for anything.

Amazing property clean beautiful, INCREDIBLE SERVICE. Beautful beach, nice room, excellent food. Keep in mind, food is very expensive and an added resort fee added on to bill every day.

My husband and I spent 5 nights here in late July. If I could sum it up in one word, that would be disappointing. We’ve travelled globally, I admit I’m quite particular, but it didn’t meet my expectation for what we paid. First of all, come prepared to spend! Typical of an island, everything is more costly, but in addition to the nightly rate, you’ll be charged the hotel occupancy tax of 7.25%, the tourism authority fee of 4.5%, the accommodation service charge of 7%, and the resort fee of $45.00. I get the taxes, but the accommodation charge and the resort fee?!? For what? Next issue is the food. Typical bland room service menu, and only ONE restaurant. The same restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though at dinner it turns into the BLT steak. All were average. Achilles next door is good. Otherwise you head into St. George, no dining options worth mentioning, and we ate at two. To get to St. George there is a shuttle but it doesn’t start until 3pm, so if you want lunch out you’re either walking or taking a taxi. Check in wasn’t great, a 30 minute process, we were given our room keys and that’s it. I find out later there is a booklet with info and QR codes, we had to go back to the desk and ask for one. The charge for incidentals is 300 per day. My husband played the golf course at the cost of $235 for the round. A steep price for an average round of golf. Pool and ocean were nice, bed was comfy. People in Bermuda are lovely. Ultimately can’t recommend St Regis.

"Disappointing Stay"

4.0

Review: The Residences at The St. Regis Bermuda We had high hopes for our stay at The Residences, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations—especially at the price point of $2,000 per night. Our assigned butler emailed us prior to arrival, but after I responded with a few questions and followed up again, I never received a reply. That lack of communication set the tone for the rest of the stay. Upon arrival, we waited 25 minutes just to check in, and then over an hour before our room was ready. During that wait, we ended up spending over $200 on drinks and snacks. There is essentially one main restaurant with limited options. The food was mediocre—the Caesar salad, for example, looked and tasted like it came from a prepackaged bag. The staff informed us that breakfast ended at 11:00 AM, but when we arrived at 10:20, we were told it closed at 10:30. My daughter grabbed one small plate from the buffet and was still charged $49 + tip. Restaurant staff were not warm or welcoming. There was also a disturbing incident at the pool where a loud argument between guests almost became physical. It left us questioning the overall guest experience and management of the property. On the positive side, the pool staff, housekeeping, and valet were all very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the front desk staff were quite the opposite—impersonal and at times, outright rude. We didn’t ask the butler for much during our stay, but when we did request a taxi, it arrived late. There was also very little support or guidance on island activities or transportation options. We weren’t informed about the boat taxi until Friday afternoon—and it doesn’t operate on weekends—so we missed the chance to use it. As for the amenities: – The fitness center is very small – There are no tennis courts nearby – Running outdoors isn’t ideal due to the narrow roads and lack of sidewalks or exercise paths – The golf course is more of a par-3 and appears to lack proper irrigation—worth checking the yardage before booking The July 4th celebration included an overpriced buffet and a DJ with questionable music choices—no other activities or entertainment were offered. On a brighter note, the residence itself was spacious, and the housekeeping staff did a great job throughout our stay. Bottom line: The rooms are nice, but for the price, the service, amenities, and overall guest experience fall well short. Limited dining options, lack of helpful management, and uncomfortable moments around the property made this a disappointing stay.

"Five star, amazing experience (with just two tiny notes)"

10.0

We had a fantastic experience at the St Regis Bermuda. We were here for our 30th anniversary and we were upgraded to an ocean front room. The staff, all around, were wonderful, personable, and caring. Housekeeping: spot on and unobtrusive. Beach service, so kind and they work hard. Breakfast staff—hustled and still were able to be personable. The resort is so close to the beach you can hear the waves from your room. From what I understand, this is the only resort right on the beach in Bermuda. It’s tucked out of the way on the quiet end of the island. You will have to take a taxi for dinners to restaurants if you want to eat anywhere but Achilles (which was excellent) it BLT Steak (which was good, but expensive). There was never that mad scramble to get beach chairs or pool chairs like I have experienced at other resorts. I only have two small notes about this hotel: each room has a giant bathtub in the middle of the room. Some might love this; we found it awkward. All the rooms have this. Also, they need more of a gift shop in case you want an aspirin or a candy bar or a magazine. They had a tiny gift shop that sold mostly clothes and I saw some chips and M&Ms. Since the hotel is far out of the way, it could be an issue if you need something. I was surprised they didn’t have a shop like this. Overall, this is a truly outstanding resort and we are already planning to go back.
