The St. Regis Bermuda Resort

Stayed in August 2025 after staying at various St. Regis properties throughout the past several years. First, the positives: the staff are incredibly hard-working, kind, and fantastic with children (concierge and front desk need some work, however). Beach is beautiful, though locals can and do come to the beach. Food is ok, definitely not what you expect from the brand. For whatever reason, the showers do not have exhaust fans--the shower reeks of mold/mildew. While there, met a couple who stated they had to be relocated out of their room for extensive mold/mildew. St. Regis: PLEASE FIX THIS. As someone who has dealt with mold illness in the past--IT IS NO JOKE! The bathroom should NOT smell like mold, as this property is only a few years old! Butler service is absolutely non-existent. If you are used to St. Regis service, nothing here is offered. In fact, I called because our room was repeatedly not cleaned during the day and I was blamed. The female butler stated our privacy tag was up (it was not). Overall, the resort looks, for a lack of a better word, "blah." It is evident that quality materials were not used during the build (flooring is already chipping on main floor). When you drive up, it feels more like a Days Inn. The walls are lacking art, and it seems that not a lot of thought was put into many aspects of the hotel. (One Bermudian made it very clear to us that Bermudians had NOTHING to do with the build, and they themselves are incredibly unhappy with how it turned out. The owner of the hotel is not from Bermuda). Unsure how this has the name "St. Regis", and I would not be surprised if the hotel changes hands in the future. We did not meet one guest who was happy with the hotel.

While beautiful location and resort, the service level was sub-par. Very slow to greet and serve in the restaurant for one. Costs were over the top. Fees for everything.

This hotel is hard to review as there are good and bad things I experienced during my stay. I stayed here after spending 4 days at the Hamilton Princess hotel and if I had to pick between the 2- I’d recommend the Hamilton Princess. It appears most people at the St Regis are Marriott Bonvoy members staying on points or corporate travelers. I’ve seen many reviews stating that this isn’t a typical St. Regis experience and I’d have to agree. The staff is friendly and helpful but they are so short staffed that they can’t be as attentive as most St. Regis clientele expect. I asked for a water bottle and never received it. If you want to visit the store- you have to call and ask someone to open it up. You want ice- you need to find someone and ask for it. You ask for the bill- it will delivered eventually. The rooms are spacious but weirdly designed. Our room had a giant bathtub right as you entered the room. You had to walk through the bathroom to get to the rest of the room. The beds are comfy and the room is larger than most hotel rooms. Our room was at the end of the hallway and for some odd reason the room directions only pointed to “57” and we were 59. This made us think our room was an after thought or didn’t exist. If you get this room or any in this stack- id ask for a different room. Our room over looked the fort and Achilles which wasn’t a terrible view but it was loud. Achilles generator/ AC unit runs all day and sounds like it’s in our room. Additionally our first night there- there was a wedding that we were not told about and it felt like we were crashing the wedding and the band was playing in our room until 12am. A little heads up would have been nice. My biggest gripe was the staff seemed to only be accommodating to the people they liked. We saw one staff member go inside and brought out 2 snorkel kits for a guest. When I inquired about a snorkel set I was told I could buy one from the store. I said I saw an employee give one to another couple and I was told- no that’s not the case. The beach is ok. It’s pretty rocky and hard to get into and out of. I much preferred tobacco bay as it’s sheltered from the wind and waves. The pool is beautiful but can get crowded. Overall- I think there are better places to stay in Bermuda.

There were not enough amenities. Store had few items no water sports no soda machines limited food selections at restaurant only 1 restaurant not a lot to do.

Our stay at the St. Regis Bermuda was nothing short of phenomenal. The property is a fabulous, modern facility with an authentic luxury look and feel throughout. Service was outstanding, and several staff members made lasting impressions on us with their warmth and attentiveness. Food and beverages were consistently very good, with breakfast being truly exceptional. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, and the breathtaking ocean view made it unforgettable. Check-in and check-out were seamless. We especially loved the sabering ceremony and the way the hotel weaves Bermuda’s heritage into its design and experience—a truly memorable stay.

Hello first from us to the entire team at the St Regis Bermuda Hotel, I would just like to say thank you. I am writing this message now because when I arrive at my final destination, which is Miami, I will not have time due to work. We are a couple who are leaving with our hearts full of love, kindness, understanding, and much more. The cleanliness of the hotel is unique. The service has surprised us, as they are able to satisfy your needs, both the cleaning staff and the staff that greeted us at the door of the hotel are impressive, their kindness. Varga, as a redundancy, I would like to mention a few names with whom I have been able to interact more and with so few words they fill you with mixed feelings, for example, Enma, reception, waitress at the BLT STEAK NY restaurant, Zaldy and Joy, room cleaning, Gwendoline, pool waiter, Sergio, Ivan, and another guy who works at the bar who is Peruvian, sorry for mentioning his nationality, and Mr. Rudolf. This last guy is the one who makes us feel like we are in the Middle East, with just a saber to break the bottle's neck and all Every day at six in the afternoon we have this demonstration. Staff was top notch! Location of property and property itself was great. Only suggestion is staff could be a little more attentive beach side. Maybe place a call button on umbrella pole like the Four Seasons offers.

excellent in every respect... except you can't get anything to eat between 11&noon.

Great location, fantastic beach. Not many dining options unless you walk or taxi elsewhere. Rooms and room design a bit dated. Staff very nice and professional with a few outliers which is unexpected for a high end property.
