Amber Lombok Beach Resort

An absolute gem in South Lombok, this resort sits right on the beach, offering stunning views of the ocean and the Lombok shoreline. Its somewhat secluded location provides plenty of peace and relaxation. The property includes a beautiful pool and an on-site restaurant with fantastic vistas. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Special thanks to Fandi for his live singing and guitar performances, Marco for his excellent driving, Ari for warm hospitality, and Karim for his helpful guidance. The resort also provides numerous options for exploring activities in the surrounding area.

Due to its secluded location, getting around Lombok requires some planning. Grab and other ride-hailing services are barely available in the area. While the resort offers convenient and reasonably priced taxi options, nearby scooter rentals are available but come with full personal responsibility for safety and costs, with no insurance coverage or payout options.

If you have enough of the business and crowds of Bali and you want to enjoy some peace, Amber Lombok Beach Resort is your destination. Somewhat 'rural' but with all facilities that will deliver a relaxing experience and exceptional service from the dedicated crew. Situated on a clean beach, not covered in plastic waste. The crew are very helpful and it is clear that they actually care about their guests. From drivers to front desk, restaurant or house keeping they are all keen to make your stay a delight. If you are looking for shops or crowds, about 20 minutes drive will get you there. Scooter hire at the resort, other transport provided for reasonable fees. The food is very nice, any time of the day, the breakfast is very 'complete' for all different tastes and preferences, for children there are reasonable facilities as well.

There was actually nothing that we did not like. This resort may not be very suitable for people who are looking for big parties and loud music.

Amber is in an incredible location, set on a beautiful beach with easy access to other stunning nearby beaches via taxi. Our room was fantastic, with the beach literally on our doorstep and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food was excellent, especially the smoothie bowls and tuna poke bowl, which we ordered repeatedly! Breakfast was also great, with good coffee and plenty of buffet options. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We also loved visiting Selong Belanak Beach, which was perfect for surfing, relaxing, and exploring. The spa is an absolute must-visit — genuinely one of the best massages we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Started to feel noticeably busier with other guests towards the end of our 5 day stay, with a real impact on weight times in the restaurant - particularly at breakfast with eggs but also at dinner too - as well as incorrect orders and seating availability both at the restaurant and sunbeds at the pool/beach. This became frustrating, and while we could recognise the staff were doing their best and always remained helpful and available, it was disappointing to see this decline particularly as it had been without fault in the first few days of our stay.

We had an amazing stay! The location is beautiful, the food was delicious, and every meal was a highlight of our trip. The staff were absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay special. A special thank you to Karim, who was absolutely perfect throughout our stay, as well as Zian and Muslih for their outstanding hospitality and kindness. They truly made our experience unforgettable. Thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful stay. We can't wait to come back!

The pool area is beautiful but we thought it was a bit small for the number of the guests that the hotel can accommodate. Not very relaxing as it had some big families group.

A fantastic stay at Amber Hotel! This was my second time here—the first time I came with my husband, and this time I brought my mom because I knew she would love it too. Everything was perfect: the service, the rooms, the food, and the overall atmosphere. A special thank you to Imam, Ani, and Ardi for taking such great care of us and making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back!

Resort liegt direkt am Strand und genießt "noch" eine Monopolstellung! Die Anlage ist liebevoll angelegt und wird dauerhaft gepflegt! Das Essen ist hervorragend und wird frisch zubereitet! Das Personal ist unglaublich aufmerksam und sehr bemüht dem Gast einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten! Kleinste Probleme werden umgehend Ernst genommen und nach einer Lösung gesucht- speziellen Dank an "Karim", welcher uns sehr gut betreut hat!

Für uns war es perfekt! Man sollte aber wissen, dass kaum weitere Ausgehmöglichkeiten Fußläufig erreichbar sind! Man ist auf Transport oder Roller mieten angewiesen!
