Amber Lombok Beach Resort

Amber Resort is a truly beautiful place to stay. The entire property is lush, green, and designed like a small village, creating a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. From the restaurant, you can enjoy stunning ocean views, and the pool area is absolutely gorgeous. The beach is one of the highlights of the resort: it is huge, peaceful, and feels almost private, as there are hardly any other people around besides an occasional local visitor. We stayed in a Garden View room and absolutely loved it. The room was comfortable and cozy. The beach loungers were also very comfortable and perfect for relaxing throughout the day. The spa treatments were exceptional. During our stay, I enjoyed a massage, a facial, and a body scrub, as well as additional facial and massage treatments on separate occasions. Every treatment was excellent, and the therapists made me feel completely relaxed and well cared for. The location is quite remote, which may not suit everyone, but for us it was actually a positive aspect because it added to the peaceful and exclusive atmosphere. If you are looking for tranquility, nature, and a beautiful beach, this resort is a wonderful choice.

First of all, I would like to emphasize that all staff members were incredibly friendly, kind, and always willing to help. The points below are therefore minor criticisms and mainly arise because the resort presents itself as a luxury property. The main issue was that the service often felt somewhat disorganized. This was particularly noticeable in the restaurant. Orders were occasionally forgotten, and it happened quite frequently that menu items were unavailable despite still being listed on the menu. While the staff always tried their best to resolve any issues, the overall dining experience sometimes felt chaotic. The food was decent and certainly not bad, but compared to other places we visited on Lombok and Gili Air, it was not particularly memorable. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. In a luxury resort, we would normally expect towels, toiletries, and toilet paper to be replenished daily. However, sometimes items were replaced and sometimes they were not. The WhatsApp communication system worked well overall, and requests were usually handled quickly, but there were occasions when requests were forgotten. None of these issues significantly affected our stay, and we still had a wonderful experience. However, for a property that markets itself as a luxury resort, the service and operational organization could be more consistent.

The hotel resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The entire property is clean, and all staff members are exceptionally friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Karim, who took excellent care of us throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is quite secluded, which makes it perfect for relaxing days and surfing at Selong Belanak Beach.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amber Lombok. Everything exceeded our expectations – the rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained, the pool was fantastic, and both the restaurant and breakfast were excellent. The location is perfect if you are looking for peace and relaxation, with a beautiful private beach and a very tranquil atmosphere. He helped us tremendously with our transfer arrangements and was always checking in to make sure everything was perfect throughout our vacation. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a real difference. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The location is truly exceptional as well as the facilities and the staff. The food is fantastic and they had great events with live music and barbecue all nights we were there. The beach is great and the view is incredible. We forgot our laundry and the staff through our contact person Karim helped us get it to us in our next hotel. We can definitely recommend this place 10/10.
