Negative points observed during my stay: The welcome was rather cold and unfriendly. Room cleaning service was not always available. It took 2 to 3 days to get laundry returned to the room. Shockingly, a colleague who forgot to close his safe was robbed. At times, there were some prostitutes seen at the reception.

The hotel room was very clean and a decent size. The hotel staff gave me a warm welcome and were kind and helpful. Miss Hakima, Mr. Mahrez, and Miss Lilia at the reception were amazing. I could really feel their dedication to service, and I was very impressed. The room service was also tasty and arrived quickly. Located near the airport and the mall only 300 away by walk 5 minutes.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at one of your hotels. Upon my arrival, I was informed by a helpful receptionist that the room I had requested—with a pool view—had been approved and would be ready shortly. I was kindly asked to wait, which I did for an hour and a half. However, to my surprise, I was then reassigned to a completely different room by an employee named Fares Cherak, with no clear explanation or justification. While I truly appreciated the professionalism and courtesy of other staff members, such as Kawther at reception and an employee named Hamza, the way this room change was handled fell short of the service standards I associate with the Marriott brand. The lack of communication and consideration regarding this decision made the experience both confusing and disappointing. Bad experience. Room floor was wet at arrival. A used towel tissue found under the night stand. The shower doesn't close and wets all the bathroom. AC doesn't go under 25.5 degrees Celsius. The breakfast was good but expensive (3000 dinars/person). Upon check in no information was shared with us. Check out took like forever. The airport shuttle was on time and comfortable. The balcony was dirty and dusty. At reception there is a flyer which says a discount of 500 dinars on the breakfast but upon payment wasn't applicable. I don't know why the put there anyways.

Really good staff and service, nice rooms, pool, gym etc. The food was good.

No towels, no hairdryer, phone line to the operator constantly busy, very slow service. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom for the hairdryer (only for the shaver). There were no mirrors, except for the one in the bathroom over the sink.

I have been staying at Algiers Marriott Hotel Bab Ezzouar since last 5 years and at visit at least 6-8 times every year. This place is like Home in Algiers. One of the staff who has stood out is, Mme. Kaouther Gastel. She's part of the Front Desk and always welcomes each guest with a warm & genuine smile. She has a very positive energy and has always been available whenever I have reached out to the Reception for help. Her knowledge of spoken & written English is a big help, of course. Her orientation towards guests service and her commitment towards her job is genuine and really appreciable. I wish her all the very best.

I am a regular and i continue to notice a consorted effort to keep improving. I spent a couple of weeks this trip and found all facilities and services to be wonderful. From the supportive Hamza and Lotfy in front office who made all my booking process and changes easy and effortless to Souhaila, Mustapha and Amina at the executive lounge who work hard to make the lounge the best it can be. I see the improvements in the louynge food quality, quantity, attentive service and the can do attitude. I dont want to forget Nour in Housekeeping who takes excellent care of the room. Soha who makes sure all requests are completed every time i call and last but not least Lilia who is constantly checking on me and asking if everything is OK and if there is anything else they can do more. Thanks to making my stay better every time!
