Wilgar Hotel

Didn't like anything about the hotel went to view it on the Wednesday before staying on the Friday partner went in with son shown them one room partner said it was disgusting mattress dirty. She did say she would put us in a bigger room with a sofa But on what she saw decided not to stop there We couldn't cancel as the cut of point was the 24/6/25 if we'd have gone before we went on the27/6/25 we would of cancelled

Friendly and welcoming nothing to much trouble to see you enjoy your stay.

The hotel cancelled the room; via a text message but never re paid nor responded . Total scam avoid. I even contacted booking.com who just sent me a generic feedback email

They cancelled my booking the morning of my stay and refused to give me a refund

Key wasn't available on arrival Key didn't unlock the door so the landlord broke the lock to get me in and said he would replace the lock before i returned When i returned a strange man was naked in my bed bleeding onto my duvet with a wet stain beside the bed

Nothing at all,the place was absolutely disgusting..we ended up leaving and not staying there

The fact that the mattress was mouldy and had blood stains on it,clearly, the bathroom had not been clean, there was long black hair in the sink and used shower packets,door plate was broken so didn't feel safe to leave belongings there,the so called clean towel had make up on it and smelt of stale perfume,and was told if we need TV on there was an old extension lead we could put across the bathroom door to reach the socket..there was no pat tested sticker on the extension lead either,was asked for a review and because we have put exactly how it was the owner rang me and was very aggressive and threatening,shouting and swearing..then got a message saying he had refunded my money,but he has not..then he's blocked my number

- Items on tea and coffee tray dirty. - Bathroom light didn't work. - No hand soap in bathroom. - Toiler had to be flushed 100 times to work. - Couldn't get into the property at night as wasn't given code for the door. - No checkout information provided and couldn't find a staff member, just had to leave key in door.
